ଯୀଶୁ ଆସୁଛନ୍ତି ବୋଲି ମାର୍ଥା ଶୁଣିଲେ। ସେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ବାଗତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଗଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ମରିୟମ ଘ ରେ ରହିଲେ।

ଯୀଶୁ ସହେି ସମୟ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଗ୍ରାମକୁ ଆସି ନଥିଲେ। ମାର୍ଥା ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଦେଖିଥିଲେ, ସେ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ସେ ସହେିଠା ରେ ଥିଲେ।
