Job 23
1 ତା'ପରେ ଆୟୁବ ଉତ୍ତର ଦଲୋ,
2 ମୁଁ ଆଜି ବି ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରୁଛି କାରଣ ମୁଁ ଆଜିବି କଷ୍ଟ ପାଉଛି।
3 ମୁଁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରେ ମୁଁ ଜାଣିଥାନ୍ତି ପରମେଶ୍ବର କେଉଁଠି ମିଳିବେ ଏବଂ ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ ତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ କିପରି ୟାଇ ହବେ।
4 ମୁଁ ମାରେ କଥା ତାଙ୍କ ଆଗ ରେ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା କରିବି। ମୁଁ ଯେ ନିର୍ଦ୍ ଦୋଷ ଏକଥା ତାଙ୍କ ଆଗ ରେ ୟୁକ୍ତି ବଳ ରେ ଉପସ୍ଥାପନା କରିବି।
5 ମୁଁ ଜାଣିବାକୁ ଚା ହେଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେ ୟୁକ୍ତିର କିପରି ଉତ୍ତର ଦବେେ। ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଉତ୍ତରକୁ ମୁଁ ବୁଝିବାକୁ ଚା ହେଁ।
6 ପରମେଶ୍ବର କ'ଣ ତାଙ୍କର ଶକ୍ତି ମାେ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ପ୍ରଯୋଗ କରିବେ ? ନା ସେ ମାେ କଥା ଶୁଣିବେ।
7 ମୁଁ ଜଣେ ସଚ୍ଚୋଟ ଲୋକ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ମାେ କାହାଣୀ କହିବାକୁ ମାେତେ ଦବେେ। ତା'ପରେ ମାରେ ବିଚାରକର୍ତ୍ତା ମାେତେ ମୁକ୍ତି କରିଦବେ।
8 କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ଯଦି ପୂର୍ବକୁ ୟାଏ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସଠାେରେ ନାହାଁନ୍ତି। ମୁଁ ପଶ୍ଚିମକୁ ୟାଏ ସଠାେରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖିପା ରେ ନାହିଁ।
9 ଯେତବେେଳେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଉତ୍ତର ରେ କାମ କରୁଛନ୍ତି, ମୁଁ ଯଦି ସଠାେରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖିପାରୁ ନାହିଁ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଯଦି ଦକ୍ଷିଣକୁ ୟାଆନ୍ତି ମୁଁ ତଥାପି ତାଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖେ ନାହିଁ।
10 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେତେ ଜାଣନ୍ତି। ସେ ମାେତେ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରୁଛନ୍ତି, ଶଷେର ସେ ଦେଖିବେ ମୁଁ ସୁନାପରି ଖାଣ୍ଟି।
11 ମୁଁ ସର୍ବଦା ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପଥରେ ଚାଲିଛି। ମୁଁ କବେେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁସରଣ କରିବା ବନ୍ଦ କରି ନାହିଁ।
12 ମୁଁ ସବୁବେଳେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଆଦେଶ ମାନିଛି। ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ମୁଖରୁ ନିସୃତ ବାଣୀକୁ ମାରେ ପ୍ରିଯ ଖାଦ୍ୟଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ଭଲ ପାଇଛି।
13 କିନ୍ତୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର କବେେ ହେଲେ ବଦଳନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। କହେି ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଛିଡ଼ା ହାଇପୋରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଯାହା ଇଚ୍ଛା କରନ୍ତି ତାହା ସେ କରନ୍ତି।
14 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେ ପ୍ରତି ଯାହା କରିବାକୁ ଚାହାଁନ୍ତି ତାହା ସେ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ କରିବେ। ତାଙ୍କର ମଧ୍ଯ ମାେ ପ୍ରତି ଅନକେ କିଛି କରିବାକୁ ଯୋଜନା ଥିବ।
15 ସେଥିପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରେ। ମୁଁ ଏକଥା ବୁଝିପା ରେ। ତେଣୁ ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରେ।
16 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାରେ ହୃଦଯକୁ ଦୁର୍ବଳ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ମୁଁ ସାହସ ହରାଇ ଦେଉଛି। ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେତେ ଭୟଭୀତ କରୁଛନ୍ତି।
17 ମାେ ଉପରେ ଘଟିୟାଇଥିବା ବିପଦସବୁ କଳାବାଦଲ ସଦୃଶ ଯାହାକି ମାେ ମୁଖ ମଣ୍ଡଳକୁ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ କରିଛି। କିନ୍ତୁ ସହେି କଳା ଅନ୍ଧକାର ମାେତେ ଚୁପ୍ କରି ରଖିପାରବ ନାହିଁ।
1 Then Job answered and said,
2 Even to day is my complaint bitter: my stroke is heavier than my groaning.
3 Oh that I knew where I might find him! that I might come even to his seat!
4 I would order my cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments.
5 I would know the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would say unto me.
6 Will he plead against me with his great power? No; but he would put strength in me.
7 There the righteous might dispute with him; so should I be delivered for ever from my judge.
8 Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him:
9 On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him:
10 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
11 My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined.
12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
13 But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth.
14 For he performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him.
15 Therefore am I troubled at his presence: when I consider, I am afraid of him.
16 For God maketh my heart soft, and the Almighty troubleth me:
17 Because I was not cut off before the darkness, neither hath he covered the darkness from my face.

1 ତା'ପରେ ଆୟୁବ ଉତ୍ତର ଦଲୋ,
Then Job answered and said,
2 ମୁଁ ଆଜି ବି ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରୁଛି କାରଣ ମୁଁ ଆଜିବି କଷ୍ଟ ପାଉଛି।

Oh that I knew where I might find him! that I might come even to his seat!
4 ମୁଁ ମାରେ କଥା ତାଙ୍କ ଆଗ ରେ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା କରିବି। ମୁଁ ଯେ ନିର୍ଦ୍ ଦୋଷ ଏକଥା ତାଙ୍କ ଆଗ ରେ ୟୁକ୍ତି ବଳ ରେ ଉପସ୍ଥାପନା କରିବି।
I would order my cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments.
5 ମୁଁ ଜାଣିବାକୁ ଚା ହେଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେ ୟୁକ୍ତିର କିପରି ଉତ୍ତର ଦବେେ। ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଉତ୍ତରକୁ ମୁଁ ବୁଝିବାକୁ ଚା ହେଁ।
I would know the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would say unto me.
6 ପରମେଶ୍ବର କ'ଣ ତାଙ୍କର ଶକ୍ତି ମାେ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ପ୍ରଯୋଗ କରିବେ ? ନା ସେ ମାେ କଥା ଶୁଣିବେ।
Will he plead against me with his great power? No; but he would put strength in me.
7 ମୁଁ ଜଣେ ସଚ୍ଚୋଟ ଲୋକ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ମାେ କାହାଣୀ କହିବାକୁ ମାେତେ ଦବେେ। ତା'ପରେ ମାରେ ବିଚାରକର୍ତ୍ତା ମାେତେ ମୁକ୍ତି କରିଦବେ।
There the righteous might dispute with him; so should I be delivered for ever from my judge.
8 କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ଯଦି ପୂର୍ବକୁ ୟାଏ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସଠାେରେ ନାହାଁନ୍ତି। ମୁଁ ପଶ୍ଚିମକୁ ୟାଏ ସଠାେରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖିପା ରେ ନାହିଁ।
Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him:
9 ଯେତବେେଳେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଉତ୍ତର ରେ କାମ କରୁଛନ୍ତି, ମୁଁ ଯଦି ସଠାେରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖିପାରୁ ନାହିଁ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଯଦି ଦକ୍ଷିଣକୁ ୟାଆନ୍ତି ମୁଁ ତଥାପି ତାଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖେ ନାହିଁ।
On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him:
10 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେତେ ଜାଣନ୍ତି। ସେ ମାେତେ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରୁଛନ୍ତି, ଶଷେର ସେ ଦେଖିବେ ମୁଁ ସୁନାପରି ଖାଣ୍ଟି।
But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
11 ମୁଁ ସର୍ବଦା ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପଥରେ ଚାଲିଛି। ମୁଁ କବେେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁସରଣ କରିବା ବନ୍ଦ କରି ନାହିଁ।
My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined.
12 ମୁଁ ସବୁବେଳେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଆଦେଶ ମାନିଛି। ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ମୁଖରୁ ନିସୃତ ବାଣୀକୁ ମାରେ ପ୍ରିଯ ଖାଦ୍ୟଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ଭଲ ପାଇଛି।
Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
13 କିନ୍ତୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର କବେେ ହେଲେ ବଦଳନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। କହେି ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଛିଡ଼ା ହାଇପୋରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଯାହା ଇଚ୍ଛା କରନ୍ତି ତାହା ସେ କରନ୍ତି।
But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth.
14 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେ ପ୍ରତି ଯାହା କରିବାକୁ ଚାହାଁନ୍ତି ତାହା ସେ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ କରିବେ। ତାଙ୍କର ମଧ୍ଯ ମାେ ପ୍ରତି ଅନକେ କିଛି କରିବାକୁ ଯୋଜନା ଥିବ।
For he performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him.
15 ସେଥିପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରେ। ମୁଁ ଏକଥା ବୁଝିପା ରେ। ତେଣୁ ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରେ।
Therefore am I troubled at his presence: when I consider, I am afraid of him.
16 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାରେ ହୃଦଯକୁ ଦୁର୍ବଳ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ମୁଁ ସାହସ ହରାଇ ଦେଉଛି। ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେତେ ଭୟଭୀତ କରୁଛନ୍ତି।
For God maketh my heart soft, and the Almighty troubleth me:
17 ମାେ ଉପରେ ଘଟିୟାଇଥିବା ବିପଦସବୁ କଳାବାଦଲ ସଦୃଶ ଯାହାକି ମାେ ମୁଖ ମଣ୍ଡଳକୁ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ କରିଛି। କିନ୍ତୁ ସହେି କଳା ଅନ୍ଧକାର ମାେତେ ଚୁପ୍ କରି ରଖିପାରବ ନାହିଁ।
Because I was not cut off before the darkness, neither hath he covered the darkness from my face.
