Jeremiah 38:3
ଆଉ ମଧ୍ଯ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, 'ଏହି ନଗର ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ବାବିଲ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ସୈନ୍ଯ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ସମର୍ପିତ ହବେ ଓ ସମାନେେ ତାହାକୁ ଅଧିକାର କରିବେ।

ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ସିଦିକିଯ ଯିରିମିୟଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରିଥିଲେ। କାରଣ ସେ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବାକ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଚାର କରି କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, 'ଆମ୍ଭେ ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦନିତ୍ସର ହସ୍ତ ରେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ଅର୍ପଣ କରିବା।
