Jeremiah 34:3
ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ହସ୍ତରୁ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇବ ନାହିଁ। ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ଧରାୟିବ ଓ ତାହା ହସ୍ତ ରେ ସମର୍ପିତ ହବେ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବାବିଲ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ବଚକ୍ଷୁ ରେ ଦେଖିବ। ସେ ମୁହାଁମୁହିଁ ହାଇେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସହିତ କଥା କହିବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବାବିଲକୁ ୟିବ।

ଏସବୁ ଘଟିଲା ପ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯିହୁଦା ରାଜା ସିଦିକିଯଙ୍କୁ, ତାହାର ଦାସଗଣଙ୍କୁ ଓ ତାହାର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମହାମାରୀ, ଖଡ୍ଗ ଓ ଦୁର୍ଭିକ୍ଷରୁ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ରହିବେ, ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସରଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତ ରେ, ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଶତ୍ରୁଗଣ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପ୍ରାଣନାଶକାରୀଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିବା। ଆଉ ସମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଦୟା, କରୁଣା ଓ କ୍ଷମା ନ କରି ଖଡ୍ଗ ରେ ବଧ କରିବେ।'

ପୁଣି ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ସିଦିକିଯକୁ ଓ ତାହାର ଅଧିପତିଗଣକୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଶତ୍ରୁଗଣ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିବା। ଆଉ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପ୍ରାଣନାଶକାରୀଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ଓ ବାବିଲ ରାଜାର ଯେଉଁ ସୈନ୍ଯଗଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରୁ ଉଠିୟାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି, ସମାନଙ୍କେ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିବି।

ସର୍ବଶଷେ ରେ ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ସୈନ୍ଯ ନଗରର ପ୍ରାଚୀର ଏକ ସ୍ଥାନ ଭଗ୍ନ କଲେ। ସହେି ରାତ୍ରି ରେ ରାଜା ସିଦିକିଯ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ଯୋଦ୍ଧାଗଣ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ଉଦ୍ୟାନକୁ ଲାଗି ଦୁଇଟି ପ୍ରାଚୀର ମଧ୍ଯ ଫାଟକ ଦଇେ ପଳାଇଲେ। ଯେତବେେଳେ କଲଦୀଯମାନେ ନଗରର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗ ରେ ବେଢି ରହିଥିଲେ। ପୁଣି ରାଜା ଆରବା ପଥ ଦଇେ ଚାଲିଗଲେ।
Ezekiel 21:25
ହେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ରାଜପୁତ୍ର, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା କରାୟିବ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଅନ୍ତିମ ସମୟ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହାଇେଅଛି।
Ezekiel 17:18
କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇବ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ସେ ଚୁକ୍ତି ଭଙ୍ଗ କରି ଶପଥ ତୁଚ୍ଛ କରିଅଛି। ସେ ଏସବୁ କରିଅଛି ଏବଂ ଦଣ୍ଡରୁ ପଳାଇ ୟାଇପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।

ସେ ଖସିୟିବା ପାଇଁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରିବ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତା' ପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭର ଜାଲ ବିଚ୍ଛାଇବା ଓ ସେ ଫାନ୍ଦ ରେ ପଡ଼ିୟିବ। ଏବଂ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାକୁ କଲଦୀଯ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଦେଶ ବାବିଲକୁ ନଇୟିବୋ। ଆଉ ସେ ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ମରିବ କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ତାହା ଦେଖିପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।
Jeremiah 52:7
ନଗରର ଏକ ସ୍ଥାନ ଭଗ୍ନ ହବୋରୁ ସମସ୍ତ ଯୋଦ୍ଧା ରାତ୍ରି ସମୟରେ ରାଜାର ଉଦ୍ୟାନ ନିକଟସ୍ଥ ଦୁଇ ପ୍ରାଚୀରର ମଧ୍ଯବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଦ୍ବାରପଥ ଦଇେ ପଳାଇଲେ। ସେ ସମୟରେ କଲଦୀଯମାନେ ନଗରର ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗ ରେ ଘରେି ରହିଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତର ଆଡ଼କୁ ପଳାଯନ କଲେ।
Jeremiah 39:4
ତହୁଁ ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ସିଦିକିଯ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ସୈନ୍ଯଗଣ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଦେଖି ପଳାଯନ କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ରାତ୍ରିକାଳ ରେ ରାଜାର ଉଦ୍ୟାନ ନିକଟସ୍ଥ ପଥ ଦଇେ ଦୁଇ ପ୍ରାଚୀରର ମଧ୍ଯସ୍ଥିତ ଦ୍ବାର ରେ ନଗରରୁ ବାହାରି ଗଲେ। ପୁଣି ସମାନେେ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତର ଆଡ଼େ ଚାଲିଲେ।
Jeremiah 38:18
ଆଉ ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବାହାରି ବାବିଲ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ଅଧିପତିମାନଙ୍କ ଅଧୀନତା ସ୍ବୀକାର ନ କରିବ, ତବେେ ଏହି ନଗର କଲଦୀଯମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ସମର୍ପିତ ହବେ ଓ ସମାନେେ ଅଗ୍ନି ରେ ଏହାକୁ ଦଗ୍ଧ କରିବେ। ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ହସ୍ତରୁ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇବ ନାହିଁ।
Jeremiah 37:17
ତାହାପ ରେ ସିଦିକିଯ ରାଜା ଲୋକ ପଠାଇ ତାହାକୁ ଅଣାଇଲା। ଆଉ ରାଜା ନିଜ ଗୃହ ରେ ଗୋପନ ରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟରୁ କୌଣସି ବାକ୍ଯ ଆସିଅଛି କି ?
