Jeremiah 29:31
ହେ ଯିରିମିୟ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିର୍ବାସିତ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ସମ୍ବାଦ ଦିଅ, 'ନିହିଲାମୀଯ ଶମଯିଯର ବିଷଯ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି ; ଆମ୍ଭେ ଶମଯିଯଙ୍କୁ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତା ପ୍ରଚାର ପାଇଁ ପଠାଇ ନାହୁଁ। ମାତ୍ର ସେ ମିଥ୍ଯା କହି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବିଶ୍ବାସ ଜନ୍ମାଇଅଛି।

ପୁଣି ସମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭ ନାମ ରେ ମିଥ୍ଯା ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବାକ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଚାର କରନ୍ତି। କିନ୍ତୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପ୍ ରରଣେ କରି ନାହୁଁ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।

ସେତବେେଳେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାେତେ କହିଲେ, ହେ ଯିରିମିୟ, ସହେି ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତାମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ବିଷଯ ରେ ମିଥ୍ଯା ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବାଣୀ ପ୍ରଚାର କରନ୍ତି। ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପ୍ରଚାର ପାଇଁ ପଠାଇ ନାହୁଁ। ଆଉ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିବାକୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦଇେ ନାହୁଁ। ସମାନେେ ମିଥ୍ଯା ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବାଣୀ ଓ ମୂଲ୍ଯହୀନ ଦବୈିତ୍ବ ପ୍ରଚାର କରୁଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ହୃଦଯର ପ୍ରବଞ୍ଚନାମୂଳକ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବାକ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଚାର କରିଛନ୍ତି।

ସମାନେେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ରେ ଅତି ମନ୍ଦ ଆଚରଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି, ସମାନେେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତିବେଶୀ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସହିତ ବ୍ଯଭିଚାର କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆଜ୍ଞା କରି ନାହୁଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ସମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭ ନାମ ରେ ମିଥ୍ଯା କଥା କହି ଅଛନ୍ତି। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହା ଜାଣୁ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସାକ୍ଷୀ ଅଛୁ।

ଏଣୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହିଛନ୍ତି, ଯେ ହତେୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମିଥ୍ଯା କଥା କହିଅଛ ଓ ମିଥ୍ଯା ଦର୍ଶନ ପାଇଅଛ। ତେଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟିବା। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହା କହନ୍ତି।
Ezekiel 13:22
କାରଣ ଯେତବେେଳେ ମୁଁ ଧାର୍ମିକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଯନୀଯ କରିନାହିଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତାଗଣ ମିଥ୍ଯା ଦ୍ବାରା ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଦୁଃଖିତ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଏବଂ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଯେପରି ସମାନଙ୍କେର କୁପଥରୁ ନ ଫରନ୍େତି ସେଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଉତ୍ସାହିତ କରିଛ।

ଆମ୍ଭେ ସହେି ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତାମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇ ନ ଥିଲୁ। ତଥାପି ସମାନେେ ଆପେ ଆପେ ଧାଇଁଲେ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କିଛି ବାକ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରି ନ ଥିଲୁ। ମାତ୍ର ସମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭ ନାମ ରେ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବାକ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଚାର କଲେ।

ତହିଁରେ ଯିରିମିୟ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତା ହନାନିଯ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତାକୁ କହିଲେ, ହେ ହନାନିଯ, ଏବେ ଶୁଣ ! ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପଠାଇ ନାହାଁନ୍ତି। ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ମିଥ୍ଯା କଥା ରେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରାଇ ଅଛ।
2 Peter 2:1
ଅତୀତକାଳ ରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ମିଥ୍ଯା ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ ବକ୍ତା ଥିଲେ। ଏବେ ମଧ୍ଯ ସହଭେଳି ଅଛନ୍ତି। ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦଳ ରେ କେତେ ଜଣ ଭଣ୍ଡ ଶିକ୍ଷକ ରହିବେ। ସମାନେେ ଏପରି ଭୁଲ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦବେେ ଯେ, ଲୋକେ ନିଜକୁ ହଜାଇ ଦବେେ। ସମାନେେ ଏଭଳି ଭାବରେ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦବେେ ଯେ ସମାନେେ ଯେ ଭୁଲ କରୁଛନ୍ତି, ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣିବା କଠିନ ହବେ। ସମାନେେ ମୁକ୍ତିଦାତା ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବାକୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ମନା କରିବେ। ସେପ୍ରକା ରେ ସମାନେେ ନିଜକୁ ଶୀଘ୍ର ନଷ୍ଟ କରି ଦବେେ।
