ଆଉ ହନାନିଯ ସବୁ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତ ରେ ବଡ଼ ପାଟି ରେ କହିଲା, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହିରୂପେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଦୁଇବର୍ଷ ହବୋ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦନିତ୍ସରର ୟୁଆଳି ସବୁ ଦେଶୀଯମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍କନ୍ଧରୁ କାଢ଼ି ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାଇବା।

ସୈନ୍ଯାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଏହି କତା କହନ୍ତି, 'ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯିହୁଦା ଉପ ରେ ଥିବା ବାବିଲ ରାଜାର ୟୁଆଳି ଭାଙ୍ଗିଅଛୁ।

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାେତେ ଏହି କଥା କହିଲେ, ହେ ଯିରିମିୟ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ତମ୍ଭରୁ କେତକେ ୟୁଆଳି ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରି ଆପଣା ସ୍କନ୍ଧ ରେ ରଖ।

Jeremiah 14:14
ସେତବେେଳେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାେତେ କହିଲେ, ହେ ଯିରିମିୟ, ସହେି ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତାମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ବିଷଯ ରେ ମିଥ୍ଯା ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବାଣୀ ପ୍ରଚାର କରନ୍ତି। ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପ୍ରଚାର ପାଇଁ ପଠାଇ ନାହୁଁ। ଆଉ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିବାକୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦଇେ ନାହୁଁ। ସମାନେେ ମିଥ୍ଯା ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବାଣୀ ଓ ମୂଲ୍ଯହୀନ ଦବୈିତ୍ବ ପ୍ରଚାର କରୁଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ହୃଦଯର ପ୍ରବଞ୍ଚନାମୂଳକ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବାକ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଚାର କରିଛନ୍ତି।
Proverbs 14:7
ମୂର୍ଖ ଲୋକର ବନ୍ଧୁ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ। ତା'ଠାରୁ ଶିକ୍ଷା ପାଇବାକୁ କିଛି ନ ଥାଏ।

ପୁଣି ସମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭ ନାମ ରେ ମିଥ୍ଯା ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବାକ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଚାର କରନ୍ତି। କିନ୍ତୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପ୍ ରରଣେ କରି ନାହୁଁ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।
