Isaiah 64
1 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯଦି ଆକାଶକୁ ବିଦୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରି ପୃଥିବୀକୁ ଆସନ୍ତ, ତବେେ ସବୁ କିଛି ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ହୁଅନ୍ତା ଓ ପର୍ବତଗୁଡ଼ିକ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତେ।
2 ଦେଶୀଯମାନେ ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭ ସାକ୍ଷାତ ରେ କମ୍ପମାନ ହବେେ ଓ ଏଥି ସକାେଶ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିପକ୍ଷଗଣଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମ ଜ୍ଞାତ କରାଇବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ପର୍ବତଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଜ୍ବଳନ୍ତ ଝାଟି ସଦୃଶ ଓ ଉତ୍ତପ୍ତ ଜଳ ଫୁଟିଲା ସଦୃଶ ହବେେ।
3 ଯେତବେେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯମାନ କଲ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆଶାକରି ନ ଥିଲୁ। ତାପ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଆସିଲ ଓ ପର୍ବତ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଆଗ ରେ କମ୍ପନ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିବ।
4 କାରଣ ଯେ ନିଜ ଅପେକ୍ଷାକାରୀ ପକ୍ଷ ରେ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ସାଧନ କରନ୍ତି, ଲୋକେ ପ୍ରାଚୀନ କାଳରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଛଡ଼ା ଅନ୍ୟ ପରମେଶ୍ବର କଥା ଶୁଣି ନାହାଁନ୍ତି କିମ୍ବା କର୍ଣ୍ଣଗୋଚର ହାଇେ ନାହିଁ କିମ୍ବା ଚକ୍ଷୁ ଦେଖି ନାହିଁ।
5 ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କରନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସହେିମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଘାତ କରିଛ। ମାତ୍ର ଅତୀତ କାଳ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ପାପ କଲୁ ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ରାଗିଲ। ଅତୀତ କାଳ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଦୋଷ କଲୁ।
6 ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସମସ୍ତେ ପାପ ରେ ଅପବିତ୍ର ଓ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଧର୍ମକର୍ମ ସବୁ ଅଶୁଚି ବସ୍ତ୍ର ସଦୃଶ ଅଟେ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଝଡ଼ିଲା ପତ୍ର ସଦୃଶ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପାପଗୁଡ଼ିକ ବାଯୁ ତୁଳ୍ଯ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଡ଼ାଇ ନିଏ।
7 ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମ ରେ ପୂଜା କରିବାକୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଅନୁସରଣ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ନିଜକୁ ଉତ୍ତଜେିତ କରିବାକୁ କହେି ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ବିମୁଖ ହାଇେଅଛି ଓ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାପଦ୍ବାରା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କ୍ଷଯ କରିଅଛ।
8 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପିତା ଅଟ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମୃତ୍ତିକା ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର କୁମ୍ଭକାର। ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ହସ୍ତର କର୍ମ।
9 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ଅତ୍ଯନ୍ତ କ୍ରୋଧିତ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ କି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପାପକୁ ଚିରକାଳ ମନରେଖ ନାହିଁ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବିନତି କରୁଛୁ, ଆମ୍ଭପ୍ରତି ଦୃଷ୍ଟି କର, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସନ୍ତାନ।
10 ତୁମ୍ଭର ପବିତ୍ର ନଗରଗୁଡ଼ିକ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତର ପାଲଟିଛି। ସିଯୋନ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତର ହାଇେଅଛି ଓ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ଧ୍ବଂସ ହାଇେଅଛି।
11 ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପିତୃପୁରୁଷଗଣ ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରୁଥିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସହେି ପବିତ୍ର ଓ ରମଣୀଯ ଗୃହ ଅଗ୍ନି ରେ ଦ'ିଭୂତ ହାଇେଅଛି, ଆଉ ମଧ୍ଯ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ମୂଲ୍ଯବାନ ପଦାର୍ଥଗୁଡ଼ିକ ବିନ୍ଟେ ହାଇେଅଛି।
12 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ଏସବୁ ହେଲାପ ରେ ମଧ୍ଯ ତୁମ୍ଭେ କ'ଣ ନିଜକୁ ଆମ୍ଭଠାରୁ କ୍ଷାନ୍ତ କରି ରଖିବ ? ତୁମ୍ଭେ କ'ଣ ନୀରବ ରହି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କ୍ଲେଶ ଦଇେ ଚାଲିବ ?
1 Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence,
2 As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence!
3 When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence.
4 For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.
5 Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved.
6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
7 And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.
8 But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
9 Be not wroth very sore, O Lord, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, see, we beseech thee, we are all thy people.
10 Thy holy cities are a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.
11 Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste.
12 Wilt thou refrain thyself for these things, O Lord? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us very sore?
Isaiah 46 in Tamil and English
1 ବେଲ୍ ଓ ନବୋ ଆମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଅବନତ ହବେେ। ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପ୍ରତିମାଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଜନ୍ତୁ ଓ ପଶୁମାନଙ୍କ ଉପ ରେ ଥୁଆ ହାଇେଛନ୍ତି। ସଗେୁଡ଼ିକ ବୋଝପରି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବହି ଚାଲିଲ, ତାହା କ୍ଲାନ୍ତ ପଶୁମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ କବଳେ ଭାର ହାଇେଅଛି।
Bel boweth down, Nebo stoopeth, their idols were upon the beasts, and upon the cattle: your carriages were heavy loaden; they are a burden to the weary beast.
2 ସମାନେେ ଅବନତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ସମାନେେ ଏକତ୍ର ନତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ଭାର ରକ୍ଷା କରି ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ, ନିଜେ ନିଜେ ବନ୍ଦୀ ହାଇଗେଲେ।
They stoop, they bow down together; they could not deliver the burden, but themselves are gone into captivity.
3 ହେ ଯାକୁବର ପରିବାର, ହେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟାଂଶ ଆମ୍ଭ କଥା ଶୁଣ ! ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବହନ କରି ଆସୁଅଛୁ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଗର୍ଭସ୍ଥ ହବୋ ଦିନଠାରୁ ଆମ୍ଭଦ୍ବାରା ବାହିତ ହାଇେଅଛ।
Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, which are borne by me from the belly, which are carried from the womb:
4 ତୁମ୍ଭର ଜନ୍ମ ସମୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ବହନ କରିଥିଲୁ। ପୁଣି ବାର୍ଦ୍ଧକ୍ଯ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବହନ କରିବୁ। ପକ୍ବକେଶ ହବୋ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଆମ୍ଭେ ବହନ କରିବୁ। କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିଛୁ। ତେଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ବହନ କରିବା ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବା।
And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.
5 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ କାହା ସହିତ ତୁଳନା କରି ପାରିବ କି ? ନା, କାରଣ କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ଆମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ସମାନ ନୁହେଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭ ବିଷଯ ରେ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଅଜ୍ଞ। ଆମ୍ଭ ସଦୃଶ କହେି ନାହିଁ।
To whom will ye liken me, and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be like?
6 ସମାନେେ ଥଳିରୁ ସୁନା ଢ଼ାଳନ୍ତି ଓ ନିକ୍ତି ରେ ରୂପା ତୌଲନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ସୁନାରିକୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ଦବେତା ଗଢ଼ିବା ପାଇଁ ମୂଲ୍ଯ ଦିଅନ୍ତି ଓ ସେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଦବେତା ନିର୍ମାଣ କରେ। ସମାନେେ ତାକୁ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରି ପୂଜା କରନ୍ତି।
They lavish gold out of the bag, and weigh silver in the balance, and hire a goldsmith; and he maketh it a god: they fall down, yea, they worship.
7 ସମାନେେ ତାହାକୁ ସ୍କନ୍ଧ ରେ ବହନ କରି ନିଅନ୍ତି। ତାକୁ ନଇେ ତା'ର ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ରଖନ୍ତି। ସେ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଛିଡ଼ା ହୁଏ ମାତ୍ର ନିଜେ ନିଜ ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ଘୁଞ୍ଚେ ନାହିଁ। ଡାକିଲେ ସେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦବେ ନାହିଁ କିମ୍ବା କାହାରିକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବ ନାହିଁ।
They bear him upon the shoulder, they carry him, and set him in his place, and he standeth; from his place shall he not remove: yea, one shall cry unto him, yet can he not answer, nor save him out of his trouble.
8 ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏହା ସ୍ମରଣ କର ଓ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ହୁଅ। ହେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଅପରାଧ କର, ଏବିଷଯ ରେ ଚିନ୍ତା କର।
Remember this, and shew yourselves men: bring it again to mind, O ye transgressors.
9 ପୁରାତନ କଥାକୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କର, କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଓ ଅଦ୍ବିତୀୟ, ଆମ୍ଭ ତୁଲ୍ଯ ଅନ୍ୟ କହେି ନାହିଁ।
Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
10 ଶଷେ ରେ କ'ଣ ଘଟିବ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆଦ୍ଯରୁ କହିଥାଉଁ। ପୁଣି ଯାହା ଘଟି ନାହିଁ ତାହା ଆମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରାଚୀନ କାଳରୁ ଜଣାଇଥାଉ ଓ କହୁ। ଆମ୍ଭର ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ସାଧିତ ହବେ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ନିଜର ସକଳ ମନୋରଥ ସିଦ୍ଧ କରିବୁ।
Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
11 ଆମ୍ଭେ ପୂର୍ବଦିଗସ୍ଥ ଦୂରଦେଶରୁ ଏକ ମନୁଷ୍ଯକୁ ଆହ୍ବାନ କରୁ। ସହେି ମନୁଷ୍ଯଟି ଉତ୍କ୍ରୋଶ ପକ୍ଷୀ ସଦୃଶ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯାହା ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା କରୁ ସେ ତାହାହିଁ କରିବ। ଆମ୍ଭେ କଳ୍ପନା କରିଅଛୁ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ସଫଳ କରିବା।
Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.
12 ହେ ଧର୍ମରୁ ବିରତ କଠିନ ହୃଦଯ ଲୋକେ, ଆମ୍ଭର କଥା ଶୁଣ।
Hearken unto me, ye stouthearted, that are far from righteousness:
13 ଆମ୍ଭେ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ଓ ଧର୍ମ ଆଣିବୁ, ତାହା ବେଶି ଦୂର ନୁହେଁ। ଆମ୍ଭ ପରିତ୍ରାଣର ବିଳମ୍ବ ଘଟିବ ନାହିଁ ; ଆମ୍ଭର ଗୌରବ ସ୍ବରୂପ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସିୟୋନ ପ୍ରତି ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ଆଣିବା।
I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry: and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory.
