ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ଏହିପ୍ରକାର ଉପବାସଦ୍ବାରା ନିଜର ପ୍ରାଣକୁ କ୍ଲେଶ ଦେଉ, ଆମ୍ଭେ କ'ଣ ଏହିପ୍ରକାର ଦିନ ମନୋନୀତ କରିଅଛୁ ? ପୁଣି ନଳବୃକ୍ଷ ପରି ମୁଣ୍ଡ ନୁଆଁଇ, ଚଟବସ୍ତ୍ର ପରିଧାନ କରି ଓ ଭସ୍ମ ଜଳେ ବିଛାଇ ତା'ଉପ ରେ ବସିଲେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସେପ୍ରକାର ଉପବାସ ଦିନକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବେ ବୋଲି ତୁମ୍ଭେ କହିବ ?
