Isaiah 50
1 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହିକଥା କୁହନ୍ତି, ହେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ପୁତ୍ରଗଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଭାବୁଛ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମାତା ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ତ୍ଯାଗ କରିଅଛୁ। ପ୍ରମାଣ ସ୍ବରୂପ ସେ ଛାଡ଼ପତ୍ର କାହିଁ ଅଥବା ଆମ୍ଭ ମହାଜନମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ କାହା ନିକଟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିକ୍ରଯ କରିଅଛୁ ? ଏଠା ରେ ଦେଖ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଜର ଅପରାଧ ପାଇଁ ବିକ୍ରୀ ହାଇେଥିଲ ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପାପ ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ମାତା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରିତ୍ଯକ୍ତା ହାଇେଥିଲେ।
2 ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆସିଲା ବେଳେ କାହିଁକି କହେି ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ନ ଥିଲ ? ଆମ୍ଭେ ଡ଼ାକିଲା ବେଳେ କହେି ଉତ୍ତର ଦବୋକୁ କାହିଁକି ନ ଥିଲ ? ଆମ୍ଭର ହସ୍ତ କ'ଣ େଛାଟ ଯେ ତାହା ମୁକ୍ତ କରିପାରିବ ନାହିଁ ? କିମ୍ବା ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭର କ'ଣ ପରାକ୍ରମ ନାହିଁ ? ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭର ଆଦେଶ ରେ ସମୁଦ୍ର ଶୁଖିୟାଇପା ରେ ଓ ନଦନଦୀକୁ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତର କରିଦଇେ ପାରୁ। ସେଥି ରେ ଥିବା ମତ୍ସ୍ଯ ଜଳ ଅଭାବରୁ ତୃଷାର୍ତ୍ତ ହାଇେ ମରିଯିବେ ଓ ଦୁର୍ଗନ୍ଧ ହବେ।
3 ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳକୁ କାଳିମା ପିନ୍ଧାଉ ଓ ଚଟବସ୍ତ୍ର ରେ ସହେି ସବୁର ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କରୁ।
4 ମାରେପ୍ରଭୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାେତେ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦଇେଛନ୍ତି ମୁଁ ଯେପରି କ୍ଲାନ୍ତ ଦୁର୍ବଳମାନଙ୍କୁ ସୁସ୍ଥିର କରିପାରିବି, ସେ ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରଭାତ ରେ ମାେତେ ଜାଗ୍ରତ କରାନ୍ତି ଓ ବିଦ୍ଯାର୍ଥୀପରି ଶୁଣିବା ପାଇଁ ମାରେ କର୍ଣ୍ଣକୁ ଜାଗ୍ରତ କରାନ୍ତି।
5 ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାରେ କର୍ଣ୍ଣକୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିଛନ୍ତି ; ପୁଣି ମୁଁ ତାଙ୍କର ବିରୁଦ୍ଧାଚାରୀ ହାଇେ ନାହିଁ କିମ୍ବା ପଛକୁ ଫରେି ନାହିଁ।
6 ମୁଁ ପ୍ରହାରକ ଦବୋ ପାଇଁ ମାରେପିଠି ଦଖାଇେ ଦବେି, ମାରେ ଦାଢ଼ି ଉପାଡ଼ିବା ପାଇଁ ମାରେ ଗାଲ ଦଖାଇେ ଦବେି, ପୁଣି ଅପମାନିତ ହବୋକୁ ଛପେ ପକାଇବାକୁ ମାରେ ମୁହଁ ଲୁଚାଇବି ନାହିଁ।
7 ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାେତେ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରିବେ ; ତେଣୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଅପମାନ ମାେତେ ବାଧିବ ନାହିଁ। ଏଥିପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ଚକମକି ପଥର ପରି ମାରେ ମୁଖକୁ ରଖିଅଛି। ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ ମୁଁ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହବେି ନାହିଁ।
8 ଯେ ମାେତେ ଧର୍ମାଚାରୀ କରନ୍ତି ସେ ମାେ ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ। ତେଣୁ ମାେତେ କିଏ ବିରୋଧ କରିବ ? ଆସ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏକତ୍ର ଛିଡ଼ା ହବୋ, କିଏ ମାରେ ବିପକ୍ଷ ରେ ୟିବ ସେ ମାେ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସୁ।
9 ଦେଖ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ମାେତେ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରିବେ। ତେଣୁ କିଏ ମାେତେ ଦୋଷୀ କରିବ ? ସମାନେେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଜୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ସଦୃଶ ହବେେ ଓ କୀଟ ସଗେୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଗ୍ରାସ କରିବ।
10 ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ଏପରି କିଏ ଅଛି ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରେ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ସବେକର ବାକ୍ଯ ପାଳନ କରେ ? ପୁଣି ଯେ ଆଲୋକ ବିନା ଅନ୍ଧକାର ରେ ଗମନ କରେ ସେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନାମ ଉପ ରେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କର ଓ ଆପଣା ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଉପ ରେ ନିର୍ଭରଶୀଳ ହେଉ।
11 ଦେଖ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଜ ନିଜ ପତ ରେ ବଞ୍ଚିବାକୁ ଚାହୁଁଛ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଜେ ନିଜେ ଅଗ୍ନି ଜାଳୁଅଛ ଓ ଅଗ୍ନି ଖୁଣ୍ଟା ରେ ନିଜକୁ ବେଷ୍ଟନ କରୁଅଛ। ପୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଜ ଅଗ୍ନିଶିଖା ଓ ନିଜ ପ୍ରଜ୍ଜ୍ବଳିତ ଅଗ୍ନିଖୁଣ୍ଟା ମଧିଅରେ ଗମନ କର। ମାେ ହସ୍ତରୁ ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପାଇବ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଶାେକରେ ଶଯନ କରିବ।'
1 Thus saith the Lord, Where is the bill of your mother’s divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away.
2 Wherefore, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinketh, because there is no water, and dieth for thirst.
3 I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering.
4 The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.
5 The Lord God hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.
6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
7 For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
8 He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me.
9 Behold, the Lord God will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.
10 Who is among you that feareth the Lord, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the Lord, and stay upon his God.
11 Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.
