ଆମ୍ଭେ ବିଶ୍ବାସୀ ଲୋକମାନେ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ସ୍ଥଳ ରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବାକୁ ସକ୍ଷମ ଅଟୁ। ଯେପରି ପରମେଶ୍ବର କହିଅଛନ୍ତି :

ତଣେୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାଙ୍କ ଉପରେ କୋର୍ଧିତ ହେଲୁ ଏବଂ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କଲୁ, ସମାନେେ ଆଉ ଆମ୍ଭର ବିଶ୍ରାମ ଭୂମିକୁ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ।

ଯଦି ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ନିଜକୁ ଅନକେ ଥର ସମର୍ପଣ କରି ଥାଆନ୍ତେ, ତା' ହେଲେ ଜଗତ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହବୋ ଦିନଠାରୁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଅନକେ ଥର ଯାତନା ସହିବାକୁ ପଡ଼ିଥାନ୍ତା। କିନ୍ତୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଥରେ ମାତ୍ର ଆସିଲେ ଓ ନିଜକୁ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲେ। ୟୁଗାନ୍ତ ସମୟରେ ଆପଣାକୁ ବଳିରୂପେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବା ଦ୍ବାରା ଯୀଶୁ ସମସ୍ତ ପାପ ହରଣ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଆସିଥିଲେ।

କାରଣ ପ୍ରାରମ୍ଭରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଯେଉଁ ଦୃଢ଼ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ଥିଲା, ତାହା ଯଦି ଶଷେ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ବଜାୟ ରଖିବ, ତାହାହେଲେ ଯୀଶୁଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ସମସ୍ତ ଅଧିକାର ରେ ସହଭାଗୀ ହବେ।

ଯେ ହତେୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳ ଓ ପୃଥିବୀ ଓ ସମୁଦ୍ର ଓ ଦନ୍ମଧ୍ଯସ୍ଥିତ ସମସ୍ତ ବସ୍ତୁ ଛଅ ଦିନ୍ ରେ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରି ସପ୍ତମ ଦିନ ରେ ବିଶ୍ରାମ କଲେ। ଏହିପରି ଭାବରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ଦିନଟିକୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କଲେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି ଦିନଟକୁ ଏକ ସ୍ବତନ୍ତ୍ର ଦିନ କଲେ।

ଆମ୍ଭର ବିଶ୍ବାସ ହତେୁ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠା ରେ ଧାର୍ମିକ କରାଯାଇଛି। ସେଥିପାଇଁ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ମାଧ୍ଯମ ରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଶାନ୍ତି ରେ ଅଛୁ। ବିଶ୍ବାସ ଦ୍ବାରା ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହର ଅଧୀନ କଲେ।
Jeremiah 6:16
ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଛକସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଛିଡ଼ା ହାଇେ ଦେଖ, ଆଉ ପୁରାତନ ପଥ ବିଷଯ ରେ ପ୍ରଚାର କରି କୁହ, ଉତ୍ତମ ପଥ କାହିଁ ? ଆଉ ସହେି ପଥରେ ଗମନ କର, ତାହା ହେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଜ ନିଜ ପ୍ରାଣ ରେ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ପାଇବ। ମାତ୍ର ସମାନେେ କହିଲେ, 'ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସେ ପଥରେ ଗମନ କରିବୁ ନାହିଁ।'
Isaiah 28:12
ଅତୀତ ରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଥିଲେ ଏଠା ରେ ଏକ ବିଶ୍ରାମସ୍ଥଳ ଅଛି। ଏହି ଶାନ୍ତିମଯ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଆରାମ ଚାହୁଁଛ ଆସି ଆରାମ କର।'
