Genesis 8:22
ଯେ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ପୃଥିବୀ ରହିଛି, ସପେର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ବୁଣିବାର ସମୟ ଓ ଅମଳ କରିବାର ସମୟ ଥଣ୍ଡା ଓ ଗରମ, ପୁଣି ଗ୍ରୀଷ୍ମ ଓ ଶୀତକାଳ, ଦିବସ ଓ ରାତ୍ରି ଏସବୁ ପୃଥିବୀ ରେ ଚ଼ାଲିଥିବ।

| and winter, | וָחֹ֛רֶף | wāḥōrep | va-HOH-ref |
| day and | וְי֥וֹם | wĕyôm | veh-YOME |
| and night | וָלַ֖יְלָה | wālaylâ | va-LA-la |
| shall not | לֹ֥א | lōʾ | loh |
