ସମାନେେ ମଷେପାଳକ, ମନୁଷ୍ଯମାନେ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଜୀବନ୍ତ ପ୍ରାଣୀର ଯତ୍ନ ଦିଅନ୍ତି। ଏଣୁ ସମାନେେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ଗୋମଷୋଦି ପଲ ପ୍ରଭୃତି ସର୍ବସ୍ବ ଆଣିଛନ୍ତି।'

ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କର ବିଶଷେ ଦାସରୂପେ ମନୋନୀତ କଲେ ଓ ମଷେ ଜଗିବା କାମରୁ ଆଣି ତାଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲେ।

Genesis 46:34
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାଙ୍କୁ କହିବ. 'ଆମ୍ଭେ ମଷେପାଳକ ଅଟୁ, ଆମ୍ଭ ପରିବାର ସମସ୍ତେ ମଷେପାଳକ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଯେତବେେଳେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ୟୁବା ଥିଲୁ, ଜୀବନ୍ତ ପ୍ରଣୀମାନଙ୍କର ଯତ୍ନ ନେଉଥିଲୁ।' ଏହାପରେ ଫାରୋ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗୋଶନ ରେ ରହିବାକୁ ଅନୁମତି ଦବେେ। କାରଣ ମିଶରର ଲୋକମାନେ ମଷେପାଳକଙ୍କୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ପାଖ ରେ ରଖିବାକୁ ପସନ୍ଦ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
Genesis 45:10
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପୁତ୍ର, ପୌତ୍ର ଓ ଗୋମଷୋଦି ସର୍ବସ୍ବ ସହିତ ଗୋଶନ ପ୍ରଦେଶ ରେ ବାସକରି ମାରେ ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହବେ।
