ସେତବେେଳେ ଜଣେ ପଳାତକ ଏବ୍ରୀଯ ଅବ୍ରାମଙ୍କୁ ସମାଚ଼ାର ଦଲୋ। ସହେି ସମୟରେ ଅବ୍ରାମ ଇଷ୍କୋଲର ଓ ଆନରରେ ଭ୍ରାତା ଇ ମାରେୀଯ ମମ୍ରିର ଆଲୋନ ବୃକ୍ଷମୂଳେ ବାସ କରୁଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଅବ୍ରାମଙ୍କର ସହାୟ ଥିଲେ।

କବଳେ ମାରେ ୟୁବକମାନେ ଯାହା ଭୋଜନ କରି ଅଛନ୍ତି ତାହା ନବେି। ପୁଣି ମାହେର ଯେଉଁ ସହାୟକଗଣ ସଙ୍ଗ ରେ ୟାଇଥିଲେ ସମାନେେ ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ଆନରେ ଇଷ୍କୋଲ ଓ ମମ୍ରି ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପ୍ରାପ୍ଯ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରନ୍ତୁ।

କାରଣ ଏବ୍ରୀଯମାନଙ୍କ ଦେଶରୁ ଲୋକମାନେ ମାେତେ ବଳପୂର୍ବକ ଅପହରଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ପୁଣି ଏ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ମଧ୍ଯ ମୁଁ କିଛି କରିନାହିଁ। ତଥାପି ସମାନେେ ମାେତେ ଏହି ଗହ୍ବର ରେ ପକାଇଲେ।

ଯୋଷଫେର ଦାସମାନେ ଯୋଷଫଙ୍କେ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ଟବେୁଲ, ଏକ ଟବେୁଲ ତାଙ୍କ ଭାଇମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଏବଂ ଆଉ ଏକ ଟବେୁଲ ମିଶ୍ରୀଯମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସହିତ ବସି ଖାଇଲେ। କାରଣ ଏବ୍ରୀଯମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଭୋଜନ କରିବା ମିଶ୍ରୀଯମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଥା ନଥିଲା। ମିଶ୍ରୀଯମାନେ ଏବ୍ରୀଯମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଖାଇବା ମସ୍ତବଡ଼ ଅନୁଚିତ ବୋଲି ବିବଚେିତ ହୁଏ।
Genesis 41:12
ସଠାେରେ ଜଣେ ଏବ୍ରୀଯ ଲୋକ ଯେ କି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ବନ୍ଦୀଶାଳା ରେ ଥିଲେ। ସେ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ରକ୍ଷକ ସୈନ୍ଯାଧିପତିର ଦାସ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ବିଷଯ ରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲୁ। ଏବଂ ସେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ତାହା ସବୁ ବୁଝାଇ ଦେଲେ। ସେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଦୁଇଜଣଙ୍କର ସ୍ବପ୍ନର ଅର୍ଥ ବୁଝାଇ ଦେଲେ।

ସେ ଗୃହର ବାହାର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଡ଼ାକି ସେ କହିଲା, ଦେଖ, ସେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗ ରେ ପରିହାସ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଜଣେ ଅବ୍ରୀଯକୁ ଆଣିଛନ୍ତି। ସେ ଭିତରକୁ ପଶି ମାେ ସହିତ ଶଯନ କରିବାକୁ କହିଲା। ମୁଁ ବଡ଼ ପାଟି ରେ ଡ଼ାକ ପକାଇଲି।
