Ezekiel 17:13
ଏବଂ ସେ ଏକ ରାଜସ୍ବ ନଇେ ତାକୁ ଶପଥ କରାଇ ତା' ସହିତ ଏକ ଚୁକ୍ତି କଲେ ଏବଂ ସେ ମହତ୍ତ୍ବପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ନଇଗେଲେ।

ସିଦିକିଯ ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସରର ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ବିଦ୍ରୋହ କଲେ। ଅତୀତ ରେ ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ସିଦିକିଯଙ୍କୁ ଏକ ଶପଥ କରାଇଥିଲେ ଯେ, ସେ ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ନିକଟରେ ବିଶ୍ବସ୍ତ ରହିବେ। ସିଦିକିଯ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନାମ ନଇେ ଶପଥ କରିଥିଲେ ଯେ, ସେ ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ବିଶ୍ବସ୍ତ ରହିବେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସିଦିକିଯ ବଡ଼ ଦାମ୍ଭିକ ଥିଲେ ଓ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଫରେିଆସିବାକୁ ଓ ମାନିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅଗ୍ରାହ୍ଯ କଲେ।

ଏବଂ ସହେି ପକ୍ଷୀ ସେ ଦେଶ ରେ ବୀଜ ନଇେ ଏକ ଉର୍ବର ଭୂମିର କ୍ଷତେ ରେ ତାହା ରୋପଣ କଲା। ସେ ପ୍ରଚୁର ଜଳରାଶିର ନିକଟରେ ତାହା ରୋପଣ କଲା।

ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦନିତ୍ସର, ଯିହାୟୋଦାରକୀମ୍ର ପୁତ୍ର, ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ୟିହୋଯାଖୀନକୁ ଓ ଯିହୁଦାର ଅଧିପତିମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶିଳ୍ପକର ଓ କର୍ମକାରମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ୟିରୁଶାଲମରୁ ବନ୍ଦୀକରି ବାବିଲକୁ ନଇଗେଲା ଉତ୍ତା ରେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାେତେ ଏକ ଦର୍ଶନ ଦଖାଇେଲେ। ଆଉ ମୁଁ ଦେଖିଲି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ମନ୍ଦିର ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଦୁଇ ଡ଼ାଲା ଡ଼ିମ୍ବିରି ଫଳ ରଖା ୟାଇଅଛି।
