Exodus 14:2
ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କୁହ, ସମାନେେ ପୀହହୀରୋତକୁ ଫରେି ୟାଆନ୍ତୁ ଏବଂ ସାମନା ରେ ଛାଉଣୀ ପକାନ୍ତୁ। ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କୁହ, ସମାନେେ ମିଗ୍ଦୋଲ ଓ ସମୁଦ୍ର ମଧିଅରେ ଏବଂ ବାଲ୍ସଫୋନ୍ ଆଗ ରେ ଛାଉଣୀ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରନ୍ତୁ।

ଏବଂ ତା'ପରେ ଯେତବେେଳେ ଫାରୋ ମାରେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ମିଶର ଛାଡିବାକୁ ଦେଲେ, ଯଦିଓ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଦେଶକୁ ୟିବା ପାଇଁ ନିକଟ ବାଟ ଥିଲା, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ସେ ପଥରେ ନେଲେ ନାହିଁ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହିଲେ, ଯଦି ଲୋକମାନେ ଏ ବାଟରେ ୟାଆନ୍ତି। ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ହୁଏତ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବାକୁ ପଡିପା ରେ। ତବେେ ହୁଏତ ସମାନେେ ତାଙ୍କର ମତ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ କରି ପାରନ୍ତି ଓ ମିଶରକୁ ଫରେିୟାଇ ପାରନ୍ତି।

ମିଶରୀଯମାନେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ପଛ ରେ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇଲେ। ଫାରୋଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ଅଶ୍ବ, ରଥ, ତାଙ୍କର ରଥା ରୋହୀ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କର ସୈନ୍ଯ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇଲେ ଆବଂ ସମୁଦ୍ର ପାଖ ରେ ବାଲ-ସଫୋନ ଆଡକୁ ମୁଖ କରିଥିବା ପୀହହୀରୋତ ଛାଉଣୀ ନିକଟରେ ଭଟେିଲେ।

ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମିଶର ରେ ପ୍ରଚାର କର, ମିଖଦୋଲ ରେ ଘାଷେଣା କର, ଆଉ ନୋଫ ଓ ତଫନ ହଷେ ରେ କୁହ, 'ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ ପାଇଁ ଠିଆ ହୁଅ ଓ ଆପଣାକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କର। କାରଣ ଖଡ୍ଗ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଚାରିଆଡ଼େ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିନାଶ କରିଚାଲିଛି।'
