Deuteronomy 31:26
ଏହି ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ପୁସ୍ତକ ନିଅ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିଯମ ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକ ଭିତ ରେ ରଖ। ତାହା ସଠାେରେ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ସାକ୍ଷୀରୂପେ ରହିବ।

ସେତବେେଳେ ମହାୟାଜକ ହିଲକିଯ ଶାଫନ୍ ସମ୍ପାଦକଙ୍କୁ କହିଲା, ଏଠାକୁ ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରର ଏହି ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ପୁସ୍ତକ ପାଇଅଛୁ। ତା'ପରେ ଶାଫନ୍ ସହେି ପୁସ୍ତକ ପାଠ କଲେ।

ରାଜା ଯୋଶିୟଯ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ୟାଅ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ପଗ୍ଭର ମାେ ପାଇଁ, ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଓ ସମଗ୍ର ଯିହୁଦା ପାଇଁ କ'ଣ କରୁବୁ। ଏହି ପୁସ୍ତକ ବିଷଯ ରେ ପଗ୍ଭର। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଆମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ ଅତ୍ଯନ୍ତ କୋର୍ଧିତ ହାଇେଛନ୍ତି। କାରଣ ଏହି ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଆମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ ଯେପରି ଲଖାେ ଥିଲା, ଆମ୍ଭର ପୁର୍ବପୁରୁଷ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ଯ ପ୍ରତି ଧ୍ଯାନ୍ଯ ଦଇେ ନଥିଲେ।
