Deuteronomy 25:9
ତବେେ ତାହାର ଭାତୃ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରାଚୀନମାନଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତ ରେ ତାହାର ନିକଟକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆସି ତାହାର ପାଦରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପାଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକା କାଢି ତାହା ମକ୍ସ୍ଟହଁ ରେ ଛପେ ପକାଇବ। ପକ୍ସ୍ଟଣି ପ୍ରତକ୍ସ୍ଟ୍ଯତ୍ତର କରି କହିବ, ' ଯେ କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ଆପଣା ଭାଇର ଘର ନ ତୋଳେ ତାହା ପ୍ରତି ଏହି ରୂପେ କରାୟିବ।'

| elders, the of | הַזְּקֵנִים֒ | hazzĕqēnîm | ha-zeh-kay-NEEM |
| and loose | וְחָֽלְצָ֤ה | wĕḥālĕṣâ | veh-ha-leh-TSA |
| his shoe | נַֽעֲלוֹ֙ | naʿălô | na-uh-LOH |
| off from | מֵעַ֣ל | mēʿal | may-AL |
| his foot, | רַגְל֔וֹ | raglô | rahɡ-LOH |
| and spit | וְיָֽרְקָ֖ה | wĕyārĕqâ | veh-ya-reh-KA |
| face, his in | בְּפָנָ֑יו | bĕpānāyw | beh-fa-NAV |
| and shall answer | וְעָֽנְתָה֙ | wĕʿānĕtāh | veh-ah-neh-TA |
| and say, | וְאָ֣מְרָ֔ה | wĕʾāmĕrâ | veh-AH-meh-RA |
| So | כָּ֚כָה | kākâ | KA-ha |
| shall it be done | יֵֽעָשֶׂ֣ה | yēʿāśe | yay-ah-SEH |
| man that unto | לָאִ֔ישׁ | lāʾîš | la-EESH |
| that | אֲשֶׁ֥ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| will not | לֹֽא | lōʾ | loh |
| up build | יִבְנֶ֖ה | yibne | yeev-NEH |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| his brother's | בֵּ֥ית | bêt | bate |
| house. | אָחִֽיו׃ | ʾāḥîw | ah-HEEV |
