Deuteronomy 1:8
ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ଦେଶ ଦଇେଅଛୁ, ଏହାସବୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର, ୟାଅ ଏବଂ ଏହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଅଧିକାର କର। ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷ ୟାଥ: ଅବ୍ରହାମ, ଇସହାକ୍ ଓ ୟାକୁବକୁ ଏହା ଦବୋ ପାଇଁ ଶପଥ କରିଥିଲକ୍ସ୍ଟ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ଦେଶମାନ ଦବୋ ପାଇଁ ଶପଥ କରିଥିଲକ୍ସ୍ଟ।'

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ଦେଶ ରେ ପ୍ରବାସ କର। ତହିଁରେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ଓ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରିବି। ପୁଣି ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବଂଶକୁ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ଭୂମି ଦବେି। ତୁମ୍ଭ ପିତା ଅବ୍ରାହାମଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ କରିଥବା ଶପଥ ମୁଁ ସଫଳ କରିବି।

ପୁଣି ଏହି ଦେଶକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବଂଶର ଚ଼ତୁର୍ଥ ପୁରୁଷ ଫରେିବେ। କାରଣ ଯେଉଁ ଇ ମାରେୀଯମାନେ ଏଠା ରେ ବାସ କରନ୍ତି, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପାପ ଏପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଶଷେ ହାଇନୋହିଁ।
