Daniel 5:19
ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତାଙ୍କୁ ଏପରି ମହିମାନ୍ବିତ କଲେ ଯେ ସକଳ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ, ନାନା ଦେଶୀଯ ଓ ଭାଷାବାଦୀ ଲୋକମାନେ ତାଙ୍କ ଛାମୁ ରେ କମ୍ପିତ ହାଇେ ଭୟ କଲେ। ସେ ଯାହାକୁ ମାରିବାକୁ ଚାହିଁଲେ ତାକୁ ବଧ କଲେ। ପୁଣି ଯାହାକୁ ବଞ୍ଚିବାକୁ ଚାହିଁଲେ, ସେ ଜୀବିତ ରହିଲା। ତାଙ୍କରି ଇଚ୍ଛାନୁସା ରେ ଜଣେ ଉନ୍ନତ ହେଲା ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ଇଚ୍ଛାନୁସା ରେ ଜଣେ ଅବନତ ହେଲା।

ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ଲୋକର ସରକାରୀ ଶାସକମାନଙ୍କ ଅଧୀନତା ସ୍ବୀକାର କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍। କାରଣ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଏହି କ୍ଷମତା ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ଦିଆଯାଇଛି ଏବଂ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଯେଉଁ ମାନେ ଅଧିକାରୀ , ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଏହି କ୍ଷମତା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରା ଯାଇଛି।
John 19:11
ଯୀଶୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, ମାେ ଉପରେ ଆପଣଙ୍କର ଯେଉଁ କ୍ଷମତା ଅଛି ବୋଲି ଆପଣ କହୁଛନ୍ତି, କବଳେ ସହେି କ୍ଷମତା ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଆପଣଙ୍କୁ ଦଇେଛନ୍ତି। ତେଣୁ ୟିଏ ମାେତେ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ପାଖ ରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିଛି, ତା'ର ପାପ ଆହୁରି ଗୁରୁତର।
Habakkuk 2:5
ପରମେଶ୍ବର କହିଲେ, ଧନ ଗୋଟିଏ ବଳବାନ୍ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିକୁ ପ୍ରତାରଣା କରିପାରିବ। ସେ କବେେ ସଫଳ ହାଇପୋରିବ ନାହିଁ। କବର ପରି ସେ ସର୍ବଦା ଅଧିକରୁ ଅଧିକ ପାଇବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରିବ। କିନ୍ତୁ ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ପରି ସେ କବେେ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ ହବେନାହିଁ। ସେ ଅନ୍ୟସବୁ ଦେଶକୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରି ଗ୍ଭଲିବ। ସେ ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ଗ୍ଭଲିବ।
Daniel 4:22
ହେ ମହାରାଜ, ସହେି ବୃକ୍ଷ ଆପଣ ଅଟନ୍ତି। ଆପଣ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇ ବଳବାନ୍ ହାଇେଅଛନ୍ତି। କାରଣ ଆପଣଙ୍କର ମହତ୍ବ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଅଛି ଓ ତାହା ଗଗନ ସ୍ପର୍ଶ କରୁଅଛି। ଆଉ ଆପଣଙ୍କର କତ୍ତୃର୍ତ୍ବ ପୃଥିବୀର ପ୍ରାନ୍ତ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ବ୍ଯାପିଅଛି।

ତେଣୁ ମୁଁ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନଠାରୁ ତାହା ଆଜ୍ଞା କରୁଅଛି ଯଦି କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ଜାତି ଓ ଭାଷାବାଦୀଦଳ, ଶଦ୍ରକ୍, ମୈଶକ୍ ଓ ଅବେଦ୍-ନଗୋର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳ ରେ ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତିଜନକ କଥା କହିବେ, ସମାନେେ ଖଣ୍ତ ଖଣ୍ତ ହାଇେ କଟାଯିବେ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଗୃହସବୁ ଭଂଗା ହବେ ଓ ଧୂଳିସାତ୍ ହବେ। କାରଣ ଏହିପରି ଭାବରେ କୌଣସି ଦବେତା ତାଙ୍କର ଦାସମାନକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ।

ତା'ପ ରେ ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ଆପଣା ସୈନ୍ଯବାହିନୀ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ କେତକେ ବଳବାନ ସୈନ୍ଯକୁ ଶଦ୍ରକ, ମୈଶକ୍ ଓ ଅବେଦ୍-ନଗୋକୁ ବାନ୍ଧି ଜ୍ବଳନ୍ତ ଅଗ୍ନିକୁଣ୍ତ ରେ ପକାଇବାକୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଲେ।

ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭର ମହାପରାକ୍ରମ ଓ ବିଶାଳ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ବାହୁ ଦ୍ବାରା ଏହି ପୃଥିବୀ ଓ ପୃଥିବୀ ନିବାସୀ ସକଳ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ଓ ପଶୁ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିଅଛୁ। ଆଉ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ସ୍ବଇଚ୍ଛା ରେ ଯାହାକୁ ଉଚିତ ମନେ କରିବୁ, ଏହା ଦଇପୋରିବୁ।
Jeremiah 25:9
ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଲୋକ ପଠାଇ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଗସ୍ଥ ସମସ୍ତ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗକୁ ଆଣିବା।ପୁଣି ଆମ୍ଭର ଦାସ ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ନବୁଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସରକୁ ଆଣିବା। ପୁଣି ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ନଇେ ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ଯିହୁଦା ନିବାସୀଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଓ ତାହାର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗସ୍ଥ ସମସ୍ତ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଛିଡ଼ା କରାଇବା। ଆଉ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ସୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାବରେ ବିନାଶ କରିବା। ସହେି ଦେଶକୁ ଚିରକାଳ ଏକ ଶୂନ୍ଯ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତର ରେ ପରିଣତ କରିବା। ତାହାକୁ ଦେଖି ଲୋକମାନେ ବିସ୍ମଯ ରେ ଓ ଶୀସ୍ ଶବ୍ଦ କରିବେ।
