ଆଉ ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, ହେ ଶଦ୍ରକ, ମୈଶକ୍ ଓ ଅବେଦ୍-ନଗୋ, ଏହା କଣ ସତ୍ଯ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମାରେ ଦବେତାଗଣର ପୂଜା କରୁନାହିଁ ଓ ମାରେସ୍ଥାପିତ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣମଯ ପ୍ରତିମାକୁ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରୁନାହିଁ।

ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ଷାଠିଏ ହାତ ଉଚ୍ଚ ଓ ଛଅହାତ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥ ଏକ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣମଯ ପ୍ରତିମା ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲା। ସେ ପ୍ରତିମାଟିକୁ ବାବିଲ ପ୍ରଦେଶର ଦୂରା ନାମକ ପଦା ରେ ସ୍ଥାପନ କଲା।

ଅବଶଷେ ରେ ମାେ ଦବେତାର ନାମାନୁସା ରେ ବେଲ୍ଟଶତ୍ସର ନାମ ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଦାନିୟେଲ ମାେ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିଲେ, ତାହାଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ତର ରେ ପବିତ୍ର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଆତ୍ମା ଅଛନ୍ତି, ମୁଁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଜଣାଇଲି।

ଯଦି ସେ ତାକୁ ହତ୍ଯା କରିବାକୁ ଚାହୁଁ ନଥିଲା କିନ୍ତୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତାକୁ ସମର୍ପଣ କଲେ, ସେ ଯେଉଁଠାକୁ ଗଲେ ସମାନେେ ତାକୁ ଉପୟୁକ୍ତ ଜାଗା ଦବେେ।
