Leviticus 3:2
ପୁଣି ସେ ସମାଗମ-ତମ୍ବୁର ଦ୍ବାର ଦେଶ ରେ ଆପଣା ବଳିର ମସ୍ତକ ଉପରେ ହାତ ରଖି ତାକୁ ବଧ କରିବ। ତା'ପରେ ହାରୋଣର ପୁତ୍ର ଯାଜକଗଣ ତାହାର ରକ୍ତ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ଉପରେ ଚାରିଆଡେ ସିଞ୍ଚନ କରିବେ।

ଆମ୍ଭେ ଦାଉଦ ପରିବାର ଓ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ନିବାସୀଙ୍କ ଉପ ରେ ଦୟା ଓ ବିନତୀର ଆତ୍ମା ବୃଷ୍ଟି କରିବା। ସମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଦେଖିବେ, ଯାହାକୁ ସମାନେେ ବିନ୍ଧି କଲେ। ଏବଂ ସମାନେେ ଶାେକ କରିବେ। ସମାନେେ ଏପରି ଶାେକ କରିବେ ଯେ, ନିଜର ଏକମାତ୍ର ପୁତ୍ରର ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ରେ ଜଣେ ଯେପରି ଶାେକ କରେ। ସମାନେେ ବ୍ଯାକୁଳ ହାଇେ କାନ୍ଦିବେ, ଯେପରି ଜଣେ ଜେଷ୍ଠପୁତ୍ରର ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ରେ କାନ୍ଦନ୍ତି।

ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସମସ୍ତେ ମଷେପଲ ସଦୃଶ ବିପଥରେ ବୁଲିଲୁ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ନିଜ ନିଜ ପଥରେ ୟାଇଅଛୁ। ଆମ୍ଭ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କର ପାପର ବୋଝ ମୁଣ୍ଡ ରେ ନଇେ ୟାଇଛନ୍ତି।
