Jeremiah 26:15
ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯଦି ମାେତେ ବଧ କରିବ, ତବେେ ଏହା ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ରୂପେ ଜାଣ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଉପ ରେ, ଏହି ନଗର ଉପ ରେ ଓ ତଦନିବାସୀମାନଙ୍କ ଉପ ରେ ନିର୍ଦ୍ ଦୋଷର ରକ୍ତପାତର ଅପରାଧ ଲାଗିବ। କାରଣ ଏହିସବୁ କଥା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ କର୍ଣ୍ଣଗୋଚର ରେ କହିବା ପାଇଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ମାେତେ ପ୍ ରରଣେ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ଏହା ସତ୍ଯ।

ତୁମ୍ଭ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ଦରିଦ୍ର ନିର୍ଦ୍ ଦୋଷ ପ୍ରାଣର ରକ୍ତ ଦଖାୟୋଏ। ଏହି ରକ୍ତ ସିନ୍ଧିକାଟିବା କୌଣସି ଲୁଣ୍ଠନକାରୀର ନୁହେଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବିନାକାରଣ ରେ ରକ୍ତପାତ କରିଛ।

ଆମ୍ଭେ ବୃଥା ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣଙ୍କୁ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦଇେଅଛୁ। ମାତ୍ର ଏହାର ଫଳ କିଛି ହେଲା ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଠିକ୍ ବାଟକୁ ଫରେିଲ ନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଖଡ୍ଗ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତାଗଣଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା କରିଅଛ। ଆଉ ଭୟଙ୍କର ସିଂହ ତୁଲ୍ଯ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଗ୍ରାସ କରିଅଛ।

କାରଣ ମନଃଶି ବହୁ ନୀରିହ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦୋଶ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯାକରି ସମାନଙ୍କେ ରକ୍ତ ରେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ୍କୁ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କଲା। ତେଣୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ସହେି ପାପ ପାଇଁ କ୍ଷମା କରିବେ ନାହିଁ।
