ଗାନ୍ଥକମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରର ଭିତ୍ତିମୂଳ ବସାଇବା ବେଳେ ସମାନେେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ରାଜା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ନିର୍ଣ୍ଣଯ ଅନୁସାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ନିଜ ନିଜ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପରିହିତ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁରୀ ସହିତ ଓ ଆସଫର ସନ୍ତାନ ଲବେୀୟଗଣଙ୍କୁ କରତାଳ ସହିତ ସ୍ଥାପନ କଲେ।

ଦାଉଦ ଓ ସନୋଧ୍ଯକ୍ଷମାନେ ଆସଫର ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକ ବିଶଷେ ସବୋକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ପୃଥକ୍ କଲେ। ଆସଫଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ରମାନେ ଥିଲେ ହମେନ ଓ ୟିହୂଥୂନ। ବୀଣା, ସାରଙ୍ଗ ଓ ଗିନି ବଜାଇ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ଘାଷେଣା କରିବା ହିଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ବିଶଷେ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଥିଲା। ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଏହି ପ୍ରକାର ଭାବରେ ସବୋକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରୁଥିଲେ, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ତାଲିକା ଏହି :

4,000 ଲବେୀୟ ଦ୍ବାରପାଳ ହବେେ ଏବଂ 4,000 ଲବେୀୟ ବାଦ୍ଯକାର ହବେେ। ମୁଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ନିମନ୍ତେ ବିଶଷେ ବାଦ୍ଯୟନ୍ତ୍ରସବୁ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଅଛି। ସମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସହେି ବାଦ୍ଯୟନ୍ତ୍ରଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ବ୍ଯବହାର କରିବେ।
