ଉପଦେଶକ ଜ୍ଞାନବାନ ହବୋରୁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିତ୍ଯ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଶିକ୍ଷା ମିଳିଲା। ପୁଣି ସେ ଅନୁଧ୍ଯାନ କରି ଓ ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ କରି ଅନକେ ହିତାପଦେେଶ ସଂଗ୍ରହ କଲେ।

ଏଗୁଡ଼ିକ ହେଉଛି ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କ ହିତାପଦେେଶ। ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ପୁତ୍ର ପିତାକୁ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ କରେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ମୂର୍ଖ ପୁତ୍ର ତା'ର ମାତାର ଦୁଃଖ ବଢ଼ାଏ।
Proverbs 25:1
ଏଗୁଡ଼ିକ ହେଉଛି ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କ ରଚିତ ହିତାପଦେେଶ। ଏହି ହିତାପଦେେଶ ଗୁଡ଼ିକ ୟିହୂଦାର ରାଜା ହିଷ୍କୀଯର ଲୋକମାନେ ଲେଖି ଥିଲେ।
