2 Kings 3:2
ସେ ଏପରି କୁକର୍ମ କଲେ, ଯାହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ରେ ମନ୍ଦକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଥିଲା। ମାତ୍ର ସେ ତାଙ୍କର ପିତା ଓ ମାତାଙ୍କ ତୁଲ୍ଯ ନଥିଲେ। କାରଣ ତାଙ୍କ ପିତା ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଥିବା ବାଲ୍ର ସ୍ତମ୍ଭଗୁଡିକୁ ଦୂର କରି ଦେଲେ।

ମନଃଶି ଆପଣା ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ଅଗ୍ନି ରେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲେ। ସେ ଶୁଭଶୁଭ କହିବାର ବିଦ୍ଯା, ଗଣକତା, ୟାଦୁବିଦ୍ଯା, ଭୂତପ୍ ରତେ ଓ ଗୂଣୀଗା ରଡେି କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ରେ ଅଭ୍ଯସ୍ତ ହେଲେ।
