ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ଜନ୍ମ ହାଇେଥିବା ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାବିଲୋନୀଯମାନେ ନଇେଯିବେ ଓ ବାବିଲ ରାଜାର ଅଟ୍ଟାଳିକା ରେ ସମାନେେ ନଫୁସକ ହାଇେ ରହିବେ।

ତେଣୁ ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ୟିହୋଯାଖୀନ୍, ତାଙ୍କର ମାତା, ତାଙ୍କର ଦାସମାନେ, ତାଙ୍କର ଅଧିପତିମାନେ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ନଫୁସକମାନେ ବାବିଲ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ଭଟେିବାକୁ ଗଲେ। ମାତ୍ର ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ଯିହାୟୋଦାରଖୀନ୍ଙ୍କୁ ଧରି ତାଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀରୂପେ ନେଲେ। ଏହା ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସରଙ୍କ ଅଷ୍ଟମ ବର୍ଷ ରାଜତ୍ବ କାଳ ରେ ଘଟିଥିଲା।

ତା'ପ ରେ ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ଅସ୍ପନସ୍କୁ ଏକ ଆଦେଶ ଦେଲେ। ଅସ୍ପନସ୍ ସବୋ ରେ ଜଣେ ନଫୁସକାଧିପତି ଥିଲେ। ରାଜା କେତକେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କୁ ରାଜପ୍ରାସାଦକୁ ଆଣିବା ପାଇଁ କହିଲେ। ନବୂଖଦନି୍ତ୍ସର କବଳେ ମହତ୍ବପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପରିବାରରୁ ୟିହୁଦି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ବଂଶରୁ ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଚାହିଁଲେ।

ତା'ପରେ ସମାନେେ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ଧରି ରିବ୍ଲା ରେ ଥିବା ବାବିଲ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ନେଲେ। ସମାନେେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଦଣ୍ତ ଦବୋକୁ ସ୍ଥିର କଲେ।
