2 Kings 13:19
ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଲୋକ ତାଙ୍କ ଉପରେ କୃଦ୍ଧ ହାଇେ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପାଞ୍ଚ କିମ୍ବା ଛଅ ଥର ଆଘାତ କରିବା କଥା। ତାହା ହାଇେଥିଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅରାମକୁ ନିଃଶଷେ କରିବା ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ହରାଇଥାନ୍ତ। କିନ୍ତୁ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଅରାମକୁ କବଳେ ତିନି ଥର ପାଇଁ ହରାଇବ।

ଏହା ଦେଖି ଯୀଶୁ ବହୁତ ରାଗିଗଲେ। ଯୀଶୁ ଶିଷ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, େଛାଟ େଛାଟ ପିଲାମାନେ ମାେ ପାଖକୁ ଆସନ୍ତୁ। ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଅଟକାଅ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ଯ ଏହି ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କ ଭଳି ସରଳ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଅଟେ।

ଅତଏବ ସଠାେରେ ଯୀଶୁ କୌଣସି ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ କରି ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ। କବଳେ କେତକେ ରୋଗୀଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ହାତ ରଖି ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ସୁସ୍ଥ କରିଲେ।

ମାତ୍ର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଲୋକ ଇଲୀଶାୟ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଏକ ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ପଠାଇ କହିଲେ, ସାବଧାନ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନ ଦଇେ ୟିବ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ଅରାମୀଯମାନେ ସେ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଗୋପନ ରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି।

ତହୁଁ ସମାନେେ ପାକ ପରେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଭୋଜନ ନିମନ୍ତେ ତାହା ଢାଳିଲେ। ଯେତବେେଳେ ସମାନେେ ଭୋଜନ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ, ସମାନେେ ଇଲୀଶାୟଙ୍କୁ ଚିତ୍କାର କରି ଡାକିଲେ, ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଲୋକ, ହଣ୍ତା ରେ ବିଷ ଅଛି। ତେଣୁ ସମାନେେ ସେ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଖାଇ ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ।

ଇଲୀଶାୟ ସହେି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଲୋକକୁ କହିଲେ, ଏହି ସମୟରେ ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ବସନ୍ତ ଋତୁ ହେଲାବଳକେୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏକ ପୁତ୍ର ସନ୍ତାନ କୋଳ କରିବ।
