ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏଲିଯଙ୍କୁ ଦଇେ କହିଥିବା ଅନୁସାରେ ଅହସିଯଙ୍କର ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ହେଲା। ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ନଥିବାରୁ ଅହସିଯଙ୍କ ପରେ ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଯିହାଶାଫେଟ୍ଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ୟିହୋରାମର ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ବର୍ଷ ରାଜତ୍ବ କାଳ ରେ ୟିହୋରାମ ତାଙ୍କ ପଦ ରେ ରାଜ୍ଯ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ।
