ଅଷ୍ଟମ ଦିନ ରେ ସମାନେେ ଏକ ପବିତ୍ର ସଭା କଲେ, କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ସାତଦିନ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀକୁ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବା ରେ କଟାଇଲେ। ଆଉ ସମାନେେ ସାତଦିନ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଭୋଜି ଉତ୍ସବ ପାଳନ କଲେ।

ସବୁ ଲୋକମାନେ ଆଉ ଅଧିକ ସାତଦିନ ରହିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସମ୍ମତ ହେଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଆହୁରି ସାତଦିନ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ନିସ୍ତାରପର୍ବ ପାଳନ କରି ଅତ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ହେଲେ।

ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କୁହ ଯେ ଉପବାସ ପାଇଁ ଗୋଟିଏ ସ୍ବତନ୍ତ୍ର ସମୟ ହବେ। ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଏକ ସ୍ବତନ୍ତ୍ର ସଭାକୁ ଆହ୍ବାନ କର। ପ୍ରାଚୀନ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ନାଗରିକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକତ୍ରୀତ କର। ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ଆଣି ସାରିଲା ପ ରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବାକୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କୁହ।
