କିନ୍ତୁ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ପଶୁଙ୍କୁ କାଟି ଓ ଚମଡ଼ା ପରିଷ୍କାର କରି ହାମବେଳି ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ସ୍ବରୂପେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ୟଥେଷ୍ଟ ସଂଖ୍ଯକ ଯାଜକ ନ ଥିଲେ। ତେଣୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଆତ୍ମୀଯମାନେ ଓ ଲବେୀୟମାନେ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଶଷେ ହବୋ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଓ ଯାଜକମାନେ ପବିତ୍ର ସବୋକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ନିମନ୍ତେ ନିଜକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିବା ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କଲେ। ଲବେୀୟମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସବୋ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ନିଜଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିବା ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ଅତ୍ଯନ୍ତ ସଚତନେ ଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ଅଧିକ ସଚତନେ ଥିଲେ।

କିନ୍ତୁ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ପଶୁଙ୍କୁ କାଟି ଓ ଚମଡ଼ା ପରିଷ୍କାର କରି ହାମବେଳି ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ସ୍ବରୂପେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ୟଥେଷ୍ଟ ସଂଖ୍ଯକ ଯାଜକ ନ ଥିଲେ। ତେଣୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଆତ୍ମୀଯମାନେ ଓ ଲବେୀୟମାନେ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଶଷେ ହବୋ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଓ ଯାଜକମାନେ ପବିତ୍ର ସବୋକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ନିମନ୍ତେ ନିଜକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିବା ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କଲେ। ଲବେୀୟମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସବୋ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ନିଜଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିବା ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ଅତ୍ଯନ୍ତ ସଚତନେ ଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ଅଧିକ ସଚତନେ ଥିଲେ।
