ଆସାଙ୍କର ଯିହୁଦା ବଂଶରୁ 3,00,000 ଓ ବିନ୍ଯାମୀନ ବଂଶରୁ 2 ,80,000 ଲୋକଙ୍କର ଏକ ସୈନ୍ଯଦଳ ଥିଲା। ଯିହୁଦାର ଲୋକମାନେ ବିରାଟକାଯ ଢ଼ାଲ ଓ ବର୍ଚ୍ଛାମାନ ବହନ କରୁଥିଲେ। ବିନ୍ଯାମୀନର ଲୋକମାନେ େଛାଟ େଛାଟ ଢ଼ାଲ ଧରୁଥିଲେ ଓ ଧନୁରୁ ତୀର ନିକ୍ଷପେ କରୁଥିଲେ। ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ଓ ସାହସୀ ଥିଲେ।
