ପୁଣି ମନେ ହେମ୍ ଏହି ଟଙ୍କା ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଧନୀ ଓ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ଲୋକଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଆଦାଯ କଲେ। ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ଧନଶାଳୀ ଲୋକଠାରୁ ପଗ୍ଭଶ ଶକେଲ ଲଖାଏଁେ ରୂପା ନେଲେ। ସେ ଅଶୂର ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ଧନ ପାଇବା ପରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ କଲେ ଓ ନିଜ ଦେଶକୁ ଫରେିଗଲେ।

ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ରାଜା ପକହଙ୍କେର ସମୟରେ ଅଶୂରର ରାଜା ତିଗ୍ଲତ-ପିଲଷେର ଆସି ଇୟୋନ, ଆବଲେ-ବୈଥ୍ମାଖା, ୟାନୋହକଦେେଶ, ହାତ୍ସୋର, ଗିଲିଯଦ, ଗାଲୀଲ ଓ ସମୁଦାଯ ନପ୍ତାଲି ଦେଶ ଅଧିକାର କଲା। ଆଉ ସେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ଅଶୂରକୁ ନଇଗେଲା।

ତାଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଅଶୂରର ରାଜା ଶଲ୍ମନଷେର ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବାକୁ ଆସିଲେ। ସେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରି ନିଜର ଅଧିନସ୍ଥ କଲେ। ତେଣୁ ହାେେଶୟ ତାଙ୍କୁ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ କରିବାକୁ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିଗତ ଭାବରେ ଦାନ ଦେଲେ।

ଆୟୁବ 7 ,000 ମେଣ୍ଢା, 3 ,000 ଓଟ, 1 ,000 ଷଣ୍ଢ ଏବଂ 500 ମାଇ ଗଧର ମାଲିକ ଥିଲା। ତା'ର ଅନକେ ଗୁଡ଼ିଏ ଭୃତ୍ଯ ଥିଲେ। ଆୟୁବ ପୂର୍ବାଞ୍ଚଳ ଦେଶମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ସବୁଠାରୁ ବେଶୀ ଧନୀ ଥିଲା।
