ତା' ପରଦିନ, ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନେ ମୃତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖ ରେ ରହିୟାଇଥିବା ପଦାର୍ଥଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଡିକ ଦବୋକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆସିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଦେଖିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପାଇଲେ ଯେ ଗିଲବୋଯ ପର୍ବତ ଉପରେ ଶାଉଲ ଏବଂ ତା'ର ତିନିପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ନିହତ ହାଇେ ପଡି ରହିଛନ୍ତି।

ୟିହୋଶାଫଟ୍ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସୈନ୍ଯଦଳ ମୃତ ଶରୀରଗୁଡ଼ିକ ନିକଟରୁ ବହୁମୂଲ୍ଯ ପଦାର୍ଥସବୁ ଲୁଟି ନବୋକୁ ଆସିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଅନକେ ବହୁମୂଲ୍ଯ ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯ ପାଇଲେ। ଯିହାଶାଫେଟ୍ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସୈନ୍ଯଦଳ ସହେି ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ନିଜ ନିମନ୍ତେ ନେଲେ। ସହେି ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଯିହାଶାଫେଟ୍ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ବହନ କରିବାର ସାମର୍ଥ୍ଯଠାରୁ ୟଥେଷ୍ଟ ଅଧିକ ଥିଲା। ମୃତ ଶରୀରଗୁଡ଼ିକ ନିକଟରୁ ସହେି ବହୁମୂଲ୍ଯ ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯଗୁଡ଼ିକ କାଢିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ତିନିଦିନ ଲାଗିଲା, କାରଣ ତାହା ପ୍ରଚୁର ଥିଲା।
