ଶାଉଲ ଯୋନାଥନର କଥା ଶୁଣିଲେ ଓ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କଲେ। ସେ କହିଲେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଜୀବିତ ଥିବା ପ୍ରମାଣେ ସେ ମରିବ ନାହିଁ।

ଶାଉଲ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ନାମ ନଇେ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରି କହିଲା, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଜୀବିତ ଥିବା ପ୍ରମାଣେ ଏହି କଥା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କୌଣସି ଦଣ୍ତ ମିଳିବ ନାହିଁ।
