ଗଲିଯାତ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିଲେ, ମୁ କ'ଣ ଗୋଟିଏ କକ୍ସ୍ଟକକ୍ସ୍ଟର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେ ପାଖକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାଡି ନଇେ ଆସିଛ। ତା'ପରେ ଗଲିଯାତ ଆପଣା ଦବେତାମାନଙ୍କ ନାମ ରେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଶାପ ଦଲୋ।

ଦେଖ, ଏହି ଲୋକମାନେ ମିଶରରୁ ଆସିଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନଙ୍କେର ସଂଖ୍ଯା ଏତେ ଅଧିକ ଯେ ସମାନେେ ସମଗ୍ର ଦେଶକୁ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଆସ ଏବଂ ମାେ ତରଫରୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଅଭିଶାପ ଦିଅ। ତାହାହେଲେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବାକୁ ସମର୍ଥ ହବେୁ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ତଡି ଦଇେ ପାରିବୁ।

ଏଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆସିବାକୁ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭ ତରଫରୁ ଏହିସବୁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅଭିଶାପ ଦବୋ ପାଇଁ ନିବଦନେ କରୁଅଛୁ। କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ବଳବାନ୍ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ତୁମ୍ଭ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ଦ୍ବାରା ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଆମ୍ଭ ରାଜ୍ଯରୁ ବାହାର କରି ପାରିବୁ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯାହାକୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କର, ସମାନେେ ଭାଗ୍ଯବାନ୍ ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯାହାକୁ ଶାପ ଦିଅ, ସେ ଶାପଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ହୁଏ।
Genesis 27:29
ସବୁ ଲୋକ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସବୋ କରନ୍ତୁ। ସବୁ ଜାତି ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ମସ୍ତକ ଅବନତ କରନ୍ତୁ। ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭାଇ ଉପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଶାସନ କର। ତୁମ୍ଭର ମା'ର ସନ୍ତାନ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ମାନୁ।
