ଦୁଇ ସୈନ୍ଯବାହିନୀ ସାତଦିନ ଧରି ସମ୍ମଖାସମ୍ମୁଖୀ ହାଇେ ଶିବିର ସ୍ଥାପନ କରି ରହିଲେ। ସପ୍ତମ ଦିନ ରେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେଲା ଓ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ସୈନ୍ଯମାନେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଦିନ ରେ ଅରାମୀଯ ସୈନ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ 1,00,000 ପଦାତିକ ସୈନ୍ଯ ବଧ କଲେ।
