ମୁଁ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ବଂଶଠାରୁ ରାଜ୍ଯ ଛଡାଇ ନଇେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦଲେି। ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାରେ ଦାସ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ପରି ମାେତେ ଅନୁସରଣ କଲନାହିଁ। ସେ ମାରେ ସମସ୍ତ ଆଦେଶ ମନପ୍ରାଣ ଦଇେ ପାଳନ କଲା। ସେ କବଳେ ମାେ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ରେ ଯାହା ଭଲ ତାହା କଲା।

ଶାଉଳଙ୍କୁ ବାହାର କରି ଦଲୋପରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ରାଜା ଭାବରେ ମନୋନୀତ କଲେ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ବିଷୟ ରେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ଯ ଦଇେ କହିଲେ, 'ମୁଁ ମାରେ ମତ ଅନୁସାରେ ୟିଶିର ପୁତ୍ର ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ପାଇଅଛି। ସେ ମାେ ଇଚ୍ଛା ଅନୁସାରେ ସବୁ ବିଷୟ କରିବେ।'
