ଶମଯିଯ ସଂପାଦକ ଥିଲେ। ସେ ନଥନଲଙ୍କେ ପୁତ୍ର ଥିଲେ। ଶମଯିଯ ଲବେୀ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀରୁ ଆସିଥିଲେ। ଶମଯିଯ ସହେି ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କ ନାମ ଲେଖିଲେ। ସେ ସହେି ନାମଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ରାଜା ଦାଉଦ ଓ ସହେି ନେତାଗଣ : ଯାଜକ ସାଦୋକ, ଅହୀମଲକେ, ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କର ବଂଶଜ ନେତା ଓ ଲବେୀ ବଂଶଜ ନେତାମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଲେଖିଲେ। ଅହୀମଲକେ ଅବିଯାଥରଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଥିଲେ। ପ୍ରତିଥର ଗୁଳାବାଣ୍ଟ ଦ୍ବାରା ସମାନେେ ଜଣେ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିକୁ ମନୋନୀତ କଲେ ଓ ଶମଯିଯ ସହେି ଲୋକର ନାମ ଲେଖି ରଖିଲେ। ତେଣୁ ସମାନେେ ଇଲିଯାସର ଓ ଈଥାମରଙ୍କ ପରିବାରର ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କର ମଧ୍ଯ କାମକୁ ଭାଗ କରି ଦେଲେ।
