ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସମସ୍ତ ନେତାମାନେ ହିବ୍ରୋଣ ରେ ରାଜା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଆସିଲେ। ଦାଉଦ ହିବ୍ରୋଣ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସହିତ ଏକ ଚୁକ୍ତି କଲେ। ତା'ପରେ ନେତାମାନେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ରାଜା ରୂପେ ଅଭିଷିକ୍ତ କଲେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଥିଲେ ଯେ, ଶାମୁଯଲଙ୍କେ ଭବିଷ୍ଯତବାଣୀ ଅନୁସାରେ ଏହା ଅବଶ୍ଯ ଘଟିବ।
