ஆரோன் ஓர் என்னும் மலையிலே மரணமடைந்தபோது, நூற்றிருபத்துமூன்று வயதாயிருந்தான்.

காத் சந்ததியும் ரூபன் சந்ததியும் அவரவர் கர்த்தருடைய சமுகத்தில் யுத்தத்திற்கு ஆயத்தமாக உங்களோடுகூட யோர்தானைக் கடந்துபோனால், அந்த தேசம் உங்களுக்கு கிடைத்தபின்பு, அவர்களுக்குக் கீலேயாத் தேசத்தைச் சொந்தமாகக் கொடுக்கக்கடவீர்கள்.

பிறகு மோசே அவர்களிடம், “காத் மற்றும் ரூபனின் கோத்திரங்களில் உள்ள ஜனங்கள் யோர்தான் ஆற்றைக் கடந்து செல்வார்கள். கர்த்தரின் முன்னால் போருக்கு ஆயுதபாணிகளாக அணிவகுத்து நிற்பார்கள். உங்கள் நாட்டை கைப்பற்றுவதற்கு அவர்கள் உதவுவார்கள். பின்பு நீங்கள் கீலேயாத் பகுதியை அவர்களது நாட்டின் சுதந்திரமாகும்படி கொடுப்பீர்கள்.
