यसकारण राजा आहाबले देशका सबै प्रमुख अगुवाहरूको सभा बोलाए। आहाबले भने, “हेर, बेन-हदद संकट खोजिरहेका छन्। पहिला उनले मलाई भने मैले उनलाई मेरा पत्नीहरू, मेरा नानीहरू, मेरो चाँदी र मेरो सुन दिनु पर्छ। ती वस्तुहरू उनलाई दिन म राजी भएँ। अनि अहिले उनी सबै वस्तुहरू लिन चाहन्छन्।”
