Psalm 101

1 म प्रेम र निष्पक्ष न्यायको गीत गाउनेछु। परमप्रभु, म तपाईंको निम्ति गाउने छु।

2 म सतर्कतासाथ शुद्ध जीवन जिउनेछु। म मेरो घरमा शुद्ध प्रकारले जिउनेछु। परमप्रभु तपाईं मकहाँ कहिले आउनुहुनेछ?

3 म आफू समक्ष कुनै मूर्तिहरू राख्ने छैन, म त्यस मानिसलाई घृणा गर्नेछु जो तपाईंको विरूद्ध जाँन्छ। म त्यस्तो गर्नेछैन!

4 म ईमान्दार हुनेछु। म दुष्टपूर्ण कामहरू गर्नेछैन।

5 यदि कसैले उसको छिमेकिहरू बारे गुप्त भावमा नराम्रा कुराहरू गर्दछ भने, म त्यस मानिसलाई रोक्छु। आफूलाई घमण्ड गर्दै र अरू भन्दा म श्रेष्ठ छु भनेर सोच्नेहरूलाई म अनुमति दिनेछैन।

6 म मानिसहरूलाई संसारभरि नै हेर्नेछु जसमाथि भरोसा गर्न सकिन्छ अनि तिनीहरूलाई मात्र मेरो सेवा गर्न दिन लाउने छु। खाली त्यस्ता मानिसहरू मात्र मेरो दासहरू हुन सक्छन् जो शुद्ध जिउँदछ।

7 म मेरो घरमा झूटाहरू बस्न दिने छैन। म झूट बोल्नेहरूलाई आफू नजिक बस्न दिने छैन।

8 यस देशमा बसिरहेका दुष्ट मानिसहरूलाई सँधै नाश गर्नेछु। परमेश्वरको शहर जानलाई म ती सब दुष्टहरूलाई वाध्य पार्नेछु।

2 I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O Lord, will I sing.

3 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

4 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.

5 A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person.

6 Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.

7 Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.

8 He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.

9 I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the Lord.
