छुट्टानाम भएका स्त्रीहरूले बिलामको उपदेश अनुसार इस्राएलीका मानिसहरूलाई यी स्त्रीहरूले परमप्रभु देखि टाढा गराउन प्रभावित गराएका थिए। यही कारणले मानिसहरूमा विपत्ति पनि आइलागेको थियो।
