Numbers 1
1 सीनै मरूभूमिको भेट हुने पालमा इस्राएलीहरूले मिश्र देश छोडेको दोस्रो वर्षको दोस्रो महीनाको पहिलो दिन मोशासित परमप्रभुले कुरा गर्नुभयो।
2 “उहाँले भन्नुभयो, तिनीहरूको परिवार र कुल समूह सहित प्रत्येक व्यक्तिको नाम लेखेर इस्राएली मानिसहरूको गन्ती गर।
3 हारून र तिमीले बीस वर्ष र त्यो भन्दा वेशी उमेर भएकाहरू सेनामा जान सक्छन् प्रत्येकको गन्ती गर।
4 प्रत्येक कुलका एक एक व्यक्तिले तिमीलाई सहायता गर्नेछन्। प्रत्येक कुलबाट एक जना व्यक्ति अगुवा हुनेछ। यी निम्न लिखित व्यक्तिहरूले तिमीलाई सहायता गर्नेछन्।
5 रूबेनको कुलबाट शदेऊरका छोरा एलीसूर
6 शिमोनको कुलबाट सूरीशद्दैको छोरो शलूमीएल;
7 यहूदाको कुलबाट अम्मीनादाबको छोरो नहशोन;
8 इस्साकारको कुलबाट सूआरको छोरो नतनेल;
9 जबूलूनको कुलबाट हेलोनको छोरो एलीआब;
10 यूसुफको उत्तराधिकारीहरूबाट; एप्रैमको कुलबाट अम्मीहूदको छोरो एलीशामा मनश्शेको कुलबाट पदासूरको छोरो गमलिएल;
11 बिन्यामीनको कुलबाट गिदोनीको छोरो अबीदान;
12 दानको कुलबाट अम्मीशद्दैको छोरो अहीएजेर;
13 आशेरको कुलबाट ओक्रानको छोरो पगीएल;
14 गादको कुलबाट रूएलको छोरो एल्यासाप;
15 नप्तालीको कुलबाट एनानको छोरो अहीरा।”
16 यी सबै मानिसहरू यिनीहरूको कुल समूहका अगुवाहरू थिए र मानिसहरूले नै यिनीहरूलाई आफ्नो आफ्नो कुल समूहका अगुवा बनाए।
17 तब मोशा र हारूनले ती मानिसहरूलाई लिए जसलाई अगुवा बनाएका थिए।
18 दोस्रो महीनाको पहिलो दिन तिनीहरूले सबै समुदायलाई एकै चोटी बोलाएर पुस्ता अनि तिनीहरूको सन्तानहरूको नाम दर्त्ता गरेर बीस र बीस भन्दा वेशी उमेरको प्रत्येक व्यक्तिको सूची तयार गरे।
19 परमप्रभुले मोशालाई दिनु भएको आज्ञा अनुसार तिनले मानिसहरूको गन्ती सीनै मरूभूमिमा गरे।
20 तिनीहरूले यस्तो प्रकारले संख्या गन्ती गरे इस्राएलको प्रथम जाति रूबेन र तिनको परिवारको गणना गरे। बीस र बीस वर्ष भन्दा वेशी उमेरका व्यक्तिहरू जो सेनामा जान सक्थे तिनीहरूको नामको सूची बनाइयो। तिनीहरूको पिता-पुर्खाको कुल र परिवार अनुसार नाम दर्त्ता गरियो।
21 रूबेनको कुलबाट गन्ती गरिएको संख्या 46,500 थियो।
22 तिनीहरूले शिमोनको कुलबाट गन्ती गरे-बीस वर्ष र उँभोका मानिसहरू जो सेनामा जान सक्थे तिनीहरू प्रत्येकको नाम पिता-पुर्खाको कुल र परिवार अनुसार दर्त्ता गरियो।
23 शिमोनको कुलबाट 59,300 व्यक्तिको गन्ती गर्यो।
24 तिनीहरूले गादको कुलबाट गन्ती गरे बीस वर्ष र उँभोका मानिसहरू जो सेनामा जान सक्थे तिनीहरू प्रत्येकको नाम पिता-पुर्खाको कुल र परिवार अनुसार दर्त्ता गरियो।
25 गादको कुलबाट 45,650 व्यक्तिको गन्ती गर्यो।
26 तिनीहरूले यहूदाको कुलबाट गन्ती गरे बीस वर्ष र उँभोका मानिसहरू जो सेनामा जान सक्थे तिनीहरू प्रत्येकको नाम पिता-पुर्खाको कुल र परिवार अनुसार दर्ता गरियो।
27 यहूदाको कुलबाट 74,600 व्यक्तिको गन्ती गर्यो।
28 तिनीहरूले इस्साकारको कुलबाट गन्ती गरे बीस वर्ष र उँभोका मानिसहरू जो सेनामा जान सक्थे तिनीहरू प्रत्येकको नाम पिता-पुर्खाको कुल र परिवार अनुसार दर्त्ता गरियो।
29 इस्साकारको कुलबाट 54,400 व्यक्तिको गन्ती गर्यो।
30 तिनीहरूले जबूलूनको कुलको गन्ती गरे बीस वर्ष र उँभोका मानिसहरू जो सेनामा जान सक्थे तिनीहरू प्रत्येकको नाम पिता-पुर्खाको कुल र परिवार अनुसार दर्त्ता गरियो।
31 जबूलूनको कुलबाट 57,400 व्यक्तिहरूको गन्ती गरियो।
32 तिनीहरूले एप्रैमको कुल समूहबाट गन्ती गरे। (एप्रैम-यूसुफको छोरो।) बीस वर्ष र उँभोका मानिसहरू जो सेनामा जान सक्थे तिनीहरू प्रत्येकको नाम पिता-पुर्खाको कुल र परिवार अनुसार दर्त्ता गरियो।
33 एप्रैमको कुलमा गन्ती गरिएको व्यक्तिहरूको सख्या 40,500 थियो।
34 तिनीहरूले मनश्शे कुलका मानिसहरूको गन्ती गरे। (मनश्शे पनि यूसुफका छोरा थिए।) बीस वर्ष र उँभोका मानिसहरू जो सेनामा जान सक्थे तिनीहरू प्रत्येकको नाम पिता-पुर्खाको कुल र परिवार अनुसार गणना गरियो।
35 मनश्शेको कुलमा गन्ती गरिएको मानिसहरूको संख्या 32,200 थियो।
36 तिनीहरूले बिन्यामीन कुलका मानिसहरूको गन्ती गरे। बीस वर्ष र उँभोका मानिसहरू जो सेनामा जान सक्थे तिनीहरू प्रत्येकको नाम पिता-पुर्खाको कुल र परिवार अनुसार गणना गरियो।
37 बिन्यामीनको कुलमा गन्ती गरिएका मानिसहरूको संख्या 35,400 थियो।
38 तिनीहरूले दान कुलका मानिसहरूको गन्ती गरे। बीस वर्ष र उँभोका सबै मानिसहरू जो सेनामा जान सक्थे तिनीहरू प्रत्येकको नाम पिता-पुर्खाको कुल र परिवार अनुसार गन्ती गरियो।
39 दानको कुलमा गन्ती गरिएका मानिसहरूको संख्या 62,700 थियो।
40 तिनीहरूले आशेर कुलका मानिसहरूको गन्ती गरे। बीस वर्ष र उँभोका मानिसहरू जो सेनामा जान सक्थे तिनीहरू प्रत्येकको नाम पुर्खाको कुल र परिवार अनुसार गणना गरियो।
41 आशेर कुलमा गणना गरिएका मानिसहरूको संख्या 41,500 थियो।
42 नप्ताली कुलका मानिसहरूको तिनीहरूले गणना गरे। बीस वर्ष र उँभोका मानिसहरू जो सेनामा जानु सक्थे तिनीहरू प्रत्येकको नाम पुर्खाको कुल र परिवार अनुसार गणना गरियो।
43 नप्ताली कुलमा गणना गरिएको मानिसहरूको संख्या 53,400 थियो।
44 मोशा, हारून र इस्राएलका बाह्र जना अगुवाहरूले यी मानिसहरूको गन्ती गरे। (त्यहाँ प्रत्येक कुल समूहबाट एक जना अगुवा थिए।)
45 तिनीहरूले बीस वर्ष र उँभोका मानिसहरू जो सेनामा जान सक्थे तिनीहरूको गन्ती गरे। तिनीहरू प्रत्येकको आफ्नो-आफ्नो परिवार अनुसार गणना गरियो।
46 तिनीहरूको जम्मा संख्या 6,03,550 थियो।
47 लेवी कुल समूहका परिवारका मानिसहरूको गणना इस्राएलका अन्य मानिसहरूसित गरिएन।
48 परमप्रभुले मोशालाई भन्नुभएको थियोः
49 “लेवीको कुल समूहका मानिसहरूको गणना नगर्नु अथवा तिनीहरूलाई इस्राएलका अरू मानिसहरूसित नमिलाउनु।
50 तर तिमीले लेवीहरूलाई करारको पवित्र पाल र यसका सबै वस्तुहरू हेरचाह गर्नुका निम्ति नियुक्त गर्यौ। तिनीहरूले पवित्र पाल र यसका सबै वस्तुहरू बोक्नु पर्छ। अनि तिनीहरूले पवित्र पालको सेवा गर्नुपर्छ र तिनीहरूले उनीहरूको छाउनी यसकै वरिपरि बनाउनु पर्छ।
51 जब तिमीले पवित्र पाल सार्थ्यो लेवीहरूले यसलाई तल झार्नु पर्थ्यो जब तिमीहरू रोकिने छौ, लेवीहरूले यसलाई स्थापित गर्नु पर्थ्यो। कुनै जो विदेशी नजिक आउँछ त्यसलाई मार्नु पर्छ।
52 इस्राएलीहरूले आफ्नो आफ्नो दल समूह भित्र र आफ्नै झण्डाको छेउ छाउमा शिविर बनाऊन्।
53 तर लेवीहरूले तिनीहरूका छाउनी पवित्र पालकै वरिपरि लगाउन् र यसलाई रक्षा गर्नु पर्छ ताकि करारको पवित्र पाल सुरक्षित रहोस् र परमेश्वरको रिसको प्रकोप इस्राएली समुदायमाथि नपरोस्।”
54 यसरी इस्राएलका मानिसहरूले परमप्रभु द्वारा मोशालाई दिनु भएको सबै आज्ञाहरू पालन गरे।
1 And the Lord spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
2 Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families, by the house of their fathers, with the number of their names, every male by their polls;
3 From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.
4 And with you there shall be a man of every tribe; every one head of the house of his fathers.
5 And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you: of the tribe of Reuben; Elizur the son of Shedeur.
6 Of Simeon; Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
7 Of Judah; Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
8 Of Issachar; Nethaneel the son of Zuar.
9 Of Zebulun; Eliab the son of Helon.
10 Of the children of Joseph: of Ephraim; Elishama the son of Ammihud: of Manasseh; Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.
11 Of Benjamin; Abidan the son of Gideoni.
12 Of Dan; Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
13 Of Asher; Pagiel the son of Ocran.
14 Of Gad; Eliasaph the son of Deuel.
15 Of Naphtali; Ahira the son of Enan.
16 These were the renowned of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers, heads of thousands in Israel.
17 And Moses and Aaron took these men which are expressed by their names:
18 And they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month, and they declared their pedigrees after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls.
19 As the Lord commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.
20 And the children of Reuben, Israel’s eldest son, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
21 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Reuben, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.
22 Of the children of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, those that were numbered of them, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
23 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.
24 Of the children of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
25 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Gad, were forty and five thousand six hundred and fifty.
26 Of the children of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
27 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Judah, were threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred.
28 Of the children of Issachar, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
29 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.
30 Of the children of Zebulun, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
31 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.
32 Of the children of Joseph, namely, of the children of Ephraim, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
33 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand and five hundred.
34 Of the children of Manasseh, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
35 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.
36 Of the children of Benjamin, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
37 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred.
38 Of the children of Dan, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
39 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Dan, were threescore and two thousand and seven hundred.
40 Of the children of Asher, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
41 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Asher, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.
42 Of the children of Naphtali, throughout their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
43 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.
44 These are those that were numbered, which Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men: each one was for the house of his fathers.
45 So were all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel;
46 Even all they that were numbered were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
47 But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.
48 For the Lord had spoken unto Moses, saying,
49 Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel:
50 But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister unto it, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle.
51 And when the tabernacle setteth forward, the Levites shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
52 And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, throughout their hosts.
53 But the Levites shall pitch round about the tabernacle of testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.
54 And the children of Israel did according to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so did they.
Nehemiah 4 in Tamil and English
1 நாங்கள் அலங்கத்தைக் கட்டுகிற செய்தியைச் சன்பல்லாத் கேட்டபோது, அவன் கோபித்து, எரிச்சலடைந்து, யூதரைச் சக்கந்தம்பண்ணி:
But it came to pass, that when Sanballat heard that we builded the wall, he was wroth, and took great indignation, and mocked the Jews.
2 அந்த அற்பமான யூதர் செய்கிறது என்ன, அவர்களுக்கு இடங்கொடுக்கப்படுமோ, பலியிடுவார்களோ, ஒருநாளிலே முடித்துப்போடுவார்களோ, சுட்டெரித்துப் போடப்பட்டு மண்மேடுகளான கற்களுக்கு உயிர் கொடுப்பார்களோ, என்று தன் சகோதரருக்கும் சமாரியாவின் சேனைக்கும் முன்பாகச் சொன்னான்.
And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned?
3 அப்பொழுது அம்மோனியனாகிய தொபியா அவன் பக்கத்தில் நின்று: அவர்கள் கட்டினாலும் என்ன, ஒரு நரி ஏறிப்போனால் அவர்களுடைய கல் மதில் இடிந்துபோகும் என்றான்.
Now Tobiah the Ammonite was by him, and he said, Even that which they build, if a fox go up, he shall even break down their stone wall.
4 எங்கள் தேவனே, நாங்கள் அவமதிக்கப்படுகிறதைக் கேட்டு, அவர்கள் நிந்திக்கிற நிந்தையை அவர்கள் தலையின்மேல் திருப்பி, அவர்களைச் சிறையிருப்பின் தேசத்திலே சூறைக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடும்.
Hear, O our God; for we are despised: and turn their reproach upon their own head, and give them for a prey in the land of captivity:

And cover not their iniquity, and let not their sin be blotted out from before thee: for they have provoked thee to anger before the builders.
6 நாங்கள் அலங்கத்தைக் கட்டிவந்தோம்; அலங்கமெல்லாம் பாதிமட்டும் ஒன்றாய் இணைந்து உயர்ந்தது; ஜனங்கள் வேலைசெய்கிறதற்கு ஆவலாயிருந்தார்கள்.
So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work.
7 எருசலேமின் அலங்கத்தைக் கட்டுகிற வேலை வளர்ந்தேறுகிறது என்றும் இடிக்கப்பட்ட இடங்கள் அடைபட்டுவருகிறது என்றும் சன்பல்லாத்தும், தொபியாவும், அரபியரும், அம்மோனியரும், அஸ்தோத்தியரும் கேட்டபோது, அவர்கள் மிகவும் எரிச்சலாகி,
But it came to pass, that when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and the Arabians, and the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites, heard that the walls of Jerusalem were made up, and that the breaches began to be stopped, then they were very wroth,
8 எருசலேமின்மேல் யுத்தம்பண்ண எல்லாரும் ஏகமாய் வரவும் வேலையைத் தடுக்கவும் கட்டுப்பாடு பண்ணினார்கள்.
And conspired all of them together to come and to fight against Jerusalem, and to hinder it.
9 ஆனாலும் நாங்கள் எங்கள் தேவனை நோக்கி ஜெபம்பண்ணி, அவர்கள் நிமித்தம் இரவும்பகலும் ஜாமங்காக்கிறவர்களை வைத்தோம்.
Nevertheless we made our prayer unto our God, and set a watch against them day and night, because of them.
10 அப்பொழுது யூதா மனிதர்: சுமைகாரரின் பெலன் குறைந்துபோகிறது, மண்மேடு மிச்சமாயிருக்கிறது; நாங்கள் அலங்கத்தைக் கட்டக் கூடாது என்றார்கள்.
And Judah said, The strength of the bearers of burdens is decayed, and there is much rubbish; so that we are not able to build the wall.
11 எங்கள் சத்துருக்களோவென்றால்: நாங்கள் அவர்கள் நடுவே வந்து, அவர்களைக் கொன்றுபோடுமட்டும், அவர்கள் அதை அறியாமலும் பாராமலும் இருக்கவேண்டும்; இவ்விதமாய் அந்த வேலையை ஓயப்பண்ணுவோம் என்றார்கள்.
And our adversaries said, They shall not know, neither see, till we come in the midst among them, and slay them, and cause the work to cease.
12 அதை அவர்களண்டையிலே குடியிருக்கிற யூதரும், பல இடங்களிலுமிருந்து எங்களிடத்துக்கு வந்து, பத்துவிசை எங்களுக்குச் சொன்னார்கள்.
And it came to pass, that when the Jews which dwelt by them came, they said unto us ten times, From all places whence ye shall return unto us they will be upon you.
13 அப்பொழுது நான் அலங்கத்துக்குப் பின்னாக இருக்கிற பள்ளமான இடங்களிலும் மேடுகளிலும் பட்டயங்களையும், ஈட்டிகளையும் வில்லுகளையும் பிடித்திருக்கிற ஜனங்களைக் குடும்பங் குடும்பமாக நிறுத்தினேன்.
Therefore set I in the lower places behind the wall, and on the higher places, I even set the people after their families with their swords, their spears, and their bows.
14 அதை நான் பார்த்து எழும்பி, பிரபுக்களையும் அதிகாரிகளையும் மற்ற ஜனங்களையும் நோக்கி: அவர்களுக்குப் பயப்படாதிருங்கள்; நீங்கள் மகத்துவமும் பயங்கரமுமான ஆண்டவரை நினைத்து, உங்கள் சகோதரருக்காகவும், உங்கள் குமாரருக்காகவும், உங்கள் குமாரத்திகளுக்காகவும், உங்கள் மனைவிகளுக்காகவும், உங்கள் வீடுகளுக்காகவும் யுத்தம்பண்ணுங்கள் என்றேன்.
And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.
15 எங்களுக்குச் செய்தி தெரியவந்ததென்றும், தேவன் அவர்கள் ஆலோசனையை அபத்தமாக்கினாரென்றும், எங்கள் பகைஞர் கேட்டபோது, நாங்கள் எல்லோரும் அவரவர் தங்கள் வேலையைச் செய்ய அலங்கத்துக்குத் திரும்பினோம்.
And it came to pass, when our enemies heard that it was known unto us, and God had brought their counsel to nought, that we returned all of us to the wall, every one unto his work.
16 அன்று முதற்கொண்டு என் வேலைக்காரரில் பாதிப்பேர் வேலைசெய்தார்கள், பாதிப்பேர் ஈட்டிகளையும் பரிசைகளையும் வில்லுகளையும் கவசங்களையும் பிடித்து நின்றார்கள்; அதிகாரிகள் யூதா வம்சத்தார் எல்லாருக்கும் பின்னாக நின்றார்கள்.
And it came to pass from that time forth, that the half of my servants wrought in the work, and the other half of them held both the spears, the shields, and the bows, and the habergeons; and the rulers were behind all the house of Judah.
17 அலங்கத்திலே கட்டுகிறவர்களும், சுமைசுமக்கிறவர்களும், சுமையேற்றுகிறவர்களும், அவரவர் ஒரு கையினாலே வேலைசெய்து, மறுகையினாலே ஆயுதம் தரித்திருந்தார்கள்.
They which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon.
18 கட்டுகிறவர்கள் அவரவர் தங்கள் பட்டயத்தைத் தங்கள் இடுப்பிலே கட்டிக்கொண்டவர்களாய் வேலைசெய்தார்கள்; எக்காளம் ஊதுகிறவன் என்னண்டையிலே நின்றான்.
For the builders, every one had his sword girded by his side, and so builded. And he that sounded the trumpet was by me.
19 நான் பிரபுக்களையும் அதிகாரிகளையும் மற்ற ஜனங்களையும் நோக்கி: வேலை பெரிதும் விஸ்தாரமுமாயிருக்கிறது; நாம் அலங்கத்தின்மேல் சிதறப்பட்டு ஒருவருக்கு ஒருவர் தூரமாயிருக்கிறோம்.
And I said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, The work is great and large, and we are separated upon the wall, one far from another.
20 நீங்கள் எவ்விடத்திலே எக்காளச் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்கிறீர்களோ அவ்விடத்திலே வந்து, எங்களோடே கூடுங்கள்; நம்முடைய தேவன் நமக்காக யுத்தம்பண்ணுவார் என்றேன்.
In what place therefore ye hear the sound of the trumpet, resort ye thither unto us: our God shall fight for us.
21 இப்படியே நாங்கள் வேலைசெய்துகொண்டிருந்தோம்; அவர்களிலே பாதிப்பேர் கிழக்கு வெளுக்கும் நேரமுதல் நட்சத்திரங்கள் காணுமட்டும் ஈட்டிகளைப் பிடித்திருந்தார்கள்.
So we laboured in the work: and half of them held the spears from the rising of the morning till the stars appeared.
22 அக்காலத்திலே நான் ஜனங்களைப் பார்த்து: இராமாறு நமக்குக் காவலுக்கும் பகல்மாறு வேலைக்கும் உதவ, அவரவர் தங்கள் வேலைக்காரரோடுங்கூட எருசலேமுக்குள்ளே இராத்தங்கக்கடவர்கள் என்று சொல்லி,
Likewise at the same time said I unto the people, Let every one with his servant lodge within Jerusalem, that in the night they may be a guard to us, and labour on the day.
23 நானாகிலும், என் சகோதரராகிலும், என் வேலைக்காரராகிலும், என்னைப் பின்பற்றி காவல்காக்கிற சேவகராகிலும் எங்கள் வஸ்திரங்களைக் களைந்துபோடாதிருந்தோம்; அவரவருக்கு ஆயுதமும் தண்ணீரும் இருந்தது.
So neither I, nor my brethren, nor my servants, nor the men of the guard which followed me, none of us put off our clothes, saving that every one put them off for washing.
