फारसको राजा दाराको दोस्रो र्बषको छैटौं महिनाको पहिलो दिन हाग्गैलाई परमप्रभुबाट एउटा वचन प्राप्त भयो। यो वचन यरूबाबेल, शालतीएलका छोरा अनि यहोशू यहोसदाकका छोराका निम्ति थियो। शालतीएल यहूदाको राज्यपाल थिए अनि यहोशू प्रधान पूजाहारी थिए। वचन यस प्रकार थियो।
