यस्तो घटना प्रधान पूजाहारी अबियाथाको समयमा भएको थियो। दाऊदले, परमेश्वरको भवनमा पसेर परमेश्वरलाई चढाइएको रोटी खाएका थिए। अनि मोशाको व्यवस्था अनुसार खालि पूजाहारी हरूले रोटी खान सक्छन् दाऊदले आफ्नो साथमा भएका सबै मानिसहरूलाई पनि केही रोटीहरू दिए।
