तब नोकरको प्रार्थना शेष हुनअघि नै रिबेका नाउँ भएकी एउटी कन्या त्यहाँ आई। रिबेका बतूएलकी छोरी थिइ। बतूएल अब्राहामको भाइ नाहोर अनि मिल्काको छोरो थियो। रिबेका आफ्नो काँधमा पानीको गाग्रो लिएर कूवामा आएकी थिइन।

यदि हामीले यो सम्झौता भङ्ग गर्यौं भने अब्राहामका परमेश्वर, नाहोरका परमेश्वर र उनीहरूको पुर्खाहरूका परमेश्वरले हाम्रो न्याय गर्नुहुनेछ।”याकूबका बाबु इसहाकले परमेश्वरलाई “भय” नाउँले बोलाए। यसर्थ याकूबले सम्झौतामा त्यो नाउँ प्रयोग गरे।

टाढा ठाउँ बाट आएको शुभ समाचारहरू त्यत्तिकै शीतल हुन्छ जति गर्मीको दिनमा प्यास र थकित भएर पिएको पानी शीतल हुन्छ।
