दाऊदले परमप्रभुको पवित्र सन्दूक दाऊदको शहर भित्र लैजान चाहेनन्। दाऊदले परमेश्वरको पवित्र सन्दूकलाई गात देखि ओबेद-एदोमको घरमा राख्ने निर्णय गरे। पवित्र सन्दूकलाई बाटोबाट ओबेद-एदोमको घरमा लगे।
