इस्राएलीहरूले जवाफ दिए, “दाऊदको राज्यको बाह्र भागमा दश भाग हामीसँग छ। यसैले तपाईंहरूको भन्दा बढता अधिकार हाम्रो छ। तर तिमीहरूले हामीलाई ध्यान दिएनौं किन? राजालाई ल्याउनु पर्छ भन्ने पहिलो मानिसहरू हामी नै थियौं।”तर यहूदाका मानिसहरूले इस्राएलीहरूलाई नराम्रो जवाफ दिए। यहूदाका मानिसहरूको वचनहरू ती इस्राएलीहरूको भन्दा ज्यादा कठोर थियौ।
