त्यसपछि दाऊदले आफ्नी पत्नी बेतशेबालाई सान्त्वना दिए। तिनले पत्नीसँग शारिरीक सम्बन्ध पनि स्थापित गरे। बेतशेबा फेरि गर्भवती भइन्। अर्को छोरा जन्माइन्। दाऊदले छोराको नाउँ सुलेमान राखे। परमप्रभुले सुलेमानलाई प्रेम गर्नु भयो।
